Beautiful house with a great covered back porch and fireplace! Plus TV! Overlooks the river ! Lots of deer wandering by. We bought some deer apples at the orchard to feed them. Great place!

Fantastic House!

We rented this house for a family get together. Everyone loved it! It's one of the best rentals we've ever had. It was immaculately clean, the beds were comfortable, and probably the most well stocked rental I've ever experienced. We enjoyed being right on the river. We hope to make staying here a yearly event. I highly recommend Harmony River Resort.

Harmony River Retreat definitely lived up to its name and provided exactly the relaxing, chill weekend we were looking for. The entire resort property and the home were beautiful. Hosts were very easy to reach when needed. Info provided made for easy check-in, stay, and check-out. The river access is pretty steep and Isn’t very easy but the resort has plenty of places to put in if you want to float- 3 tubes provided.

Great Place to stay!

Harmony River Retreat was a great place for us to stay over Labor Day. The cabin is right on the river so it is easy to hop in and tube down to the bridge (roughly 25 minutes). The cabin is in terrific condition has plenty of room to spread out. We played board games and watched college football on the deck. Downtown Elijay is roughly 20 minutes away and several Apple Orchards are just 30 minutes away. I would highly recommend Harmony River Retreat.

The cabin was great, very comfortable. We had a great time. Couple of things: a way to more easily access the river; a cover to keep the rain out of the fire pit-had to clean out full of water; a couple of those pillow like ottomans for putting your feet up. Thanks also for responding so quickly with the new coffee maker. Carla

This was a beautiful home - built recently and nicely furnished. It was exceptionally clean when we arrived. It has wonderful porches and outdoor seating areas, and we enjoyed the hot tub. The kids enjoyed converting the dining table into a ping pong table. If you hate windy, narrow roads, be aware that the road getting there feels a little tricky. It didn't bother us one bit, but our older parents didn't love the roads and steep driveway. There is only room to park three cars. We brought tubes with us and put them in at the house, and then had someone pick us up about a mile and a half down river. That was fun, pretty gentle ride. Lots of tubes floating past while we were there. We did try to fish in the river but didn't have much luck, but it was fun to try. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay!
