This House Beautiful is exceptional with its decor and view of the river and is very well supplied. I only say this because we are older and many of our friends are limited in their mobility but it was not a problem for us.... the best part of the home is up a beautiful staircase of approximately 16 steps, but with solid handrail. The upstairs bedroom is exceptional! The downstairs bedroom is much smaller, but it met our needs. We came from out of town and stayed with another couple for our Aurora High School reunion so we may be biased, but Aurora is a beautiful little town with nice shops, restaurants and activities just a few miles away. Watching the barges on the river from the upper porch is mesmerizing and a great way to start and end your day. Our host was just as good as the house so we give them both an A!

This is a lovely home with a gorgeous view! Everything is well thought out. Very well supplied kitchen. It is a 5 star place, but a word of caution if you have small children or issues with steps. The main living area is on the upper level and there are a lot of steps. I do have knee issues, but the view and place are so nice, I would stay again if in the area.
