Welcome to Carolina Dunes 401, a beautifully updated 3-bedroom, 2-bath oceanfront condo located in the prestigious Golden Mile section of Myrtle Beach. Newly renovated, this unit features modern stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, and stylish furnishings throughout. The open living space flows onto the private balcony, offering breathtaking ocean views and plenty of room for relaxation.

The master bedroom includes a king bed, 55” Smart TV, and en-suite bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds, the third bedroom features two full beds, and the living room provides a queen-size sleeper sofa. Luxury linens are included, along with 4 beach chairs for guest use.

The stay was awesome! Never have I stayed in a condo that the kitchen was so big and incredibly well stocked! It was clean, check in was easy due to given e-mail with code prior to arriving. Decor and ocean front view were stunning. Comfortable beds and fantastic porch furniture. We would definitely stay here again. Only negative was the master shower bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan and the showerhead was too low for my tall husband. That being said, it wouldn't ever stop us from coming again. Had a great time! Loved it so much, we even extended our stay.

Rarely do you get to a place and it is as nice as the listing. This one did not disappoint. The furniture, the kitchen, the amenities were all there for us. Its a spacious place with a beautiful deck. The Deck chairs and tables are sturdy and comfortable.I would certainly book again.

A great family vacation

The pefect stay!

This property was perfect for our family of 6! The unit was large and updated with plenty of necessities. Great appliances, granite counters, nice beds, roomy eating and living area.... and WHAT A VIEW! The only thing that was missing was a broom to sweep up after ourselves. The property was well kept with someone there tending the pool and deck areas every morning. The pool was clean and warm enough to jump right in, and the building is on what I consider a perfect spot on the beach. Hopefully, the owners of the building pitch in for a hottub in the future, but that's not that important. Carolina Dunes is the perfect gem for any family!

We had to clean before we could unpack anything. Also the elevator smelled like pee. Not sure I would stay in this complex again.

I can’t say enough good things About this property

I loved the place, my teenagers had a room with large beds my pre teens had a room of their own and our bed was so comfortable I wish I knew what brand it was . The big view window in our room allowed us to watch the sun rise every morning being that we were on the fourth floor we were able to leave our doors open and hear the ocean all night. The TV in the middle got really hot but I have NO COMPLAINTS

Concerned about the balcony and how loose the railing is esp with small kids. The balcony was also very untidy and cheap looking compared to what is inside. Personally I liked most everything about the condo but the couches need to be replaced. I did not want to sit on them. They were outdated and had stains on them. Everything else has been taken care of and in consideration. Thank you!

Very dirty, not well-maintained and lots of BLACK MOLD

I could write a book on our disappointment, but I will just mention a few things. The place was not clean, updated or well maintained. We could barely open and close the sliding door to enjoy the ocean view, which was the main reason we stayed there. There was THICK black mold from the floor to the ceiling in the main hallway closet. If I could just add pictures, I wouldn't even need to write anything. My older mother-in-law got severely sick within three days, and she stayed sick for over two months after returning home. She is allergic to mold and mildew. They slept in a bed right next to the closet. The vents were thick with black mold and lots of dark, fuzzy stuff. Management said if we just had called when we got there, they would have had the mold painted over and within two hours all would have been ok. That's not ok. I know there is paint to seal mold, but the sweeper and cleaning stuff was all in that closet....so....when they cleaned after the last guest (if they did) they should have CLEARLY seen the mold and it should have been taken care of, including finding the cause of the leak more importantly. We were told the mold was there because guests leave the sliding door open for too long... Management said the mold could have easily happened in one day because of the humidity. There is no way. The whole place just had a grimy feel. There were a ton more issues, but I am done. I'm sorry, I just don't want anyone else to spend a LARGE amount of money, like we did, to stay in a place like this. The kitchen, pool and view were the best parts. Although, there weren't even decent chairs on the patio for all of us to sit and enjoy the view. My greatest sadness was the fact that my mother-in-law was so incredibly miserable and continued to stay sick for so very long. Just not acceptable at ALL. The only refund offered was $250 (or something close to that...under $450 for sure...can't quite remember) We did not accept it. I requested a minimum of half our money back. I have never written a review before, but I had to for this. Such a disappointment.

Sheryl, We are sorry you had such a rough experience staying at the Carolina Dunes. It is unfortunate that this happened but it can happen quickly in the entry closet since it has no ciruclation. During the summer the humidity is very high and if guest leave the doors open it will cause moisture on the vents and closed closets. We offered to immediately take care of it and use Kilz to kill the growth and eliminate the problem. Unfortunatley you refused for us to come in to paint. It was just right

My family truly enjoyed the condo. It was centrally located to all the popular things to do but far enough away that we had peaceful nights. The rooms were clean and there was no mildew smell that some places have near the beach. I’m sure not having carpet helped that and made clean up a breeze. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and clean with along with appliances. We did a quick shop at the food lion that was only 6 blocks away. We plan to come again and bring more family.
