The Finest Super-Luxury Ocean Front Unit In Garden City Beach

This is the finest 1 bedroom unit in Water's Edge Resort! Nothing else in Water's Edge or the South Strand can compare. An extreme makeover, with a Tuscan Villa Decor in mind, a few short years ago converted this into our escape away private retreat with every conceivable luxury and amenity you could imagine.

From the minute you walk in to our Villa you will see a spectacular panoramic view of the blue Atlantic Ocean. A 14 foot arch, supported by white Doric columns, frame the spectacular view through the living room. Designer Cindy Crawford queen size sofa and marble top end tables, coffee table and TV table accent the side-by-side power leather reclining entertainment theater seats and the 65 inch Sony flat screen 4K TV with DVD and 5.1 surround sound built into the trey ceiling.

Relax to the cool breeze of the tropical overhead fan while you look out over the blue Atlantic Ocean. An oversize 14 foot by 8 foot balcony with privacy walls gives you a front row seat to watch the dolphins, boats, surfers, para-sails and you will even see horses in the off-season.

Dine in elegance at the tropical style dining table and chairs, framed by the custom designed tiled tropical planter on one end and a built-in china cabinet and office area on the other. The Custom designed Cherry cabinet kitchen with Canyon Sunset Granite is fully stocked with all your culinary needs, high-end stainless steel appliances, built-in wine cooler, compactor, dishwasher, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, convection oven, microwave and glass top range.

The beautifully furnished Master Bedroom has custom built-in Cherry cabinets including a well stocked library for your enjoyment in the lighted glass front bookcase. Mirrored closet doors, and luxurious cashmere sculptured carpet, adjoins a super-luxury bath with Jacuzzi tub, Rain Forest Shower head and built-in body jets in the wall. Floor to ceiling Italian marble and ceramic tile are accented by a granite topped Bombay chest vanity. Full second bath with Rain Forest Shower Head and floor to ceiling Italian marble and ceramic tile and granite topped vanity.

The beach is a short elevator ride down and 100 feet to the sand. It is a beach lovers dream. A little quieter and less crowded than Myrtle Beach, you will fall in love with Garden City Beach. This unit was remodeled as our private second home. Our escape away. We just began renting it in 2013 to people looking for something really special. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the unit. We enjoyed the resort and loved the view from the balcony. Balcony furniture is uncomfortable, particularly the loungers. Kitchen was nicely equipped and had everything we needed. The owners are very responsive.

Beautiful Villa

It’s a beautiful villa and we had everything we needed for two of us. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beautiful decorations. Gorgeous view of the ocean from the balcony. We didn’t have any problem with parking our car. It was enough space always. Food Lion (grocery store) is close by. It’s ice cream and another food source at the level LL. Ice cream is local and very delicious. Janet and William (the owners) are very nice. Communication is outstanding. We enjoyed very much our stay in villa 305. Thank you Janet and William.

The view was great

The property was great. The unit was clean and very well decorated. Had a very small issue with the tv I called the owner and it was corrected in minutes. I would recommend the unit and would stay here again. The view was worth the cost alone

Beautiful condo meets every need

Loved working with Janet and really enjoyed spending the week in this condo. Even during the peak of the season, Water's Edge isn't too crowded and there is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the beach or the pool. The condo itself is beautifully furnished and feels like home. The Owens thought of every detail. Anything you might need for cooking, toiletries, and a comfy bed are all waiting for you along with this incredible view. My husband and I love staying at water's edge where we can watch the sunrise from the balcony and sit and listen to the waves in the evening. We're also just a quick drive to all the delicious seafood and fun live music at the Marsh Walk. The pictures don't even do this place justice- it's perfect.

Spectacular view and condo

The condo is decorated with the finest furnishing and is super clean. Walk off the pool deck onto the beach.. We have stayed at a lot of oceanfront condos but none that were just steps away from the beach and a short walk to Gardner city pier. The sunrise in the morning from the balcony is simply stunning. The balcony had nice Lounge chairs for relaxing, enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the waves rolll in and table and chairs for oceanfront dining, And when you are ready to unwind inside you can relax in a comfortable recliner. Janet was a great host and was truly invested in making sure our stay was top notch. We would definitely stay here again. You won’t be disappointed. Pamela

Wonderful Vacation!

My husband and I spent a week at your amazing condo in June of 2015. The pictures on this website just don't do it justice. Everything was just as described from the beautiful granite countertops in the kitchen to the Jacuzzi tub in the luxurious master bath. The view from the living room is stunning. The balcony is just high enough over the tops of the palm trees so that the view of the beach is totally unobstructed. The owners have spared no expense when it comes to the beautiful details. Their recommendations of restaurants were great. Greg's Cabana Bar has a fantastic burger and at Gulf Stream Café, you will see the most gorgeous sunsets in all of the Myrtle Beach area. Janet and Parker were a pleasure to work with; even calling once during our stay to make sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely stay at your condo again!

Love waters edge

Nice stay; front door was difficult to open and I’m not interested in a full page of instructions just to open, was annoying and even maintenance agreed; saw bugs in kitchen around toaster oven when we went to grab a piece of pizza . (I’m assuming pest control is needed). NO I did not notify owners, we just kept everything off counters and in fridge. I’m on vacation, I’m not there to call on things every 5 minutes. Pest control should be part of maintaining the condo. Loved the recliners in living room and tv was crystal clear. Beautiful view of ocean right from living room. If u need foil, salt/pepper, coffee pods, etc bring it because nothing there. First place I’ve ever stayed at where none of that was left over from prior guests! Overall ~decent stay. Thanks Kim

This was our second stay at the property. We love that it is right on the beach, and we can watch the ocean from the balcony. The villa itself is so wonderfully decorated and it makes us feel like we are in a secret hideaway in the middle of Garden City beach! I recommend it to all couples.

We did an extreme makeover that same year, to make this home a show place. Family and business obligations prevent us from using it as much as we would like, so we have decided to share our home with those who are seeking something special in a vacation resort. We know you will enjoy it and we also know that you will want to return often.

Why they chose this property

Garden City Beach is just south of Myrtle Beach, but a little quieter, less crowded and more relaxing than Myrtle Beach. Water's Edge Resort is a concrete and steel high rise that withstood hurricane Hugo, when many of its neighbors did not. The third floor and unit 305 are just above the tops of the Palmetto trees to create a tropical feeling without distractions. The view from the living room and the deck are simply the best on the East Coast. We think you will agree.
