sleeps 10 3200 sf home on main channel of lake wylie in charlotte (steel creek area). 20 min from uptown charlotte(16.8 miles from the square uptown) ! THERE IS NO POOL! ( They keep saying i do ) No parties.! 10 guests MAX 2 miles from I-485 Log cabin but very high end. 3 BR 3.5 bath. Upstairs is large open vaulted ceilings with great room DR and kitchen MBR is up./ downstairs is another den, bar, 2 BR and 2 full bath.. house has CITY WATER AND CITY SEWER, ( NOT septic and well. ) NO PETS,/ PARTIES/ NO SMOKING ( Between October and MAY Ideal for traveling nurses for we have large monthly(50%)discount bring net to 3 BR and each BR has own bath and shower with Discount to $4350 total) $500 charge if pets brought even briefly. $500 charge if more than 10 people staying overnite unless pre arranged . MBR is a KING, both BR down are a queen, plus 2 bunks in each room. new basketball and pickleball court there is a spa but No pool.

Below is large den with bank of TV's on wall. and bar with kitchenette. Outside is deck up and patio below. plus new patio Sits on 1.2 acres.,. new large deck for entertaining . (3 decks now) New under deck roofing installed April 2022 as to keep lower deck out of rain. New Nat Gas firepit. in back and real log firepit on driveway side. New airfryer/griddle. Had same rental prices since we started in 2020
house is fully furnished . Home is only 2 miles from 485 on exit 4 so easy access to uptown any other area of Charlotte 1).MBR is KING bed,2) one BR down is queen plus 2 bunks ,3) and 3rd BR has queen plus 2 bunks MBR is up and 2 BR and 2 full baths below(bedrooms are on oppiste side of house) Hardwoods thru-out. berewick shopping center plus 2 new shoppings ctrs all within a mile ; and many restaurants 1 mile away if into fishing 3 Christmas trees on pylons deep down for "reef" to attract fish plus theres green fishing light and minnow tap to attract fish with food All New half ping pong table, in, plus Darts, cornhole, Bucket ball, chinese checkers, ladder ball, and many other new games ,, Electric football, mini ping pong, and bumper pool already in.. kayak. brand new baby high chair onsite.. we have had same prices since 2019

A Perfect Reunion

What an amazing place, beautiful location, fun activities and oh so comfortable. View of the lake is breathtaking. The owner was on top of everything for us and responsive to every question we had. We will be renting again next year. So worth every penny, a must for a place to check out!

Lovely place

This cottage is amazing, great view , clean and spacious enough to accommodate our family of 10 , The host was very comunicative and prompt to answer any question we had. We really enjoyed the games, the outdoors, canoeing , jacuzzi , and everything else in this cottage. Looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent Family Getaway with awesome views

This was the perfect getaway for two families with adult children during the pandemic. The property and views are beautiful, exactly as described, and more. Bill has a great sense of humor, responsive and a great host. We will definitely be back.

Presidents Cup Golf Getaway

We had an amazing experience. Perfect getaway for friends and family. The views of the lake and with so many great golf courses nearby makes it the perfect place. If only the Saints would have won lol! Thanks again we will be back soon.

Great property. Location is ideal to be both on the lake and within 15 minutes of the major areas of Charlotte. Bill was incredibly responsive and checked in on us several times. The owners do have quite a sense of humor as you will see throughout the house. Will definitely look to rent the property again on our next trip to Charlotte.

Perfect for family vacation!

This property was a fantastic fit for our family vacation. I cannot speak highly enough about every aspect of our stay here from the location, to the home itself, to the thoughtfulness of the host. Our family will certainly be planning another visit to this property and I encourage anybody else considering the vacation rental to book it hastily. You will not be disappointed! Lovely Lake House

This is our second stay at Sawmill and it’s our absolute favorite place to be away from home. The pictures do not do this home justice. It’s beautiful and so cozy. The home has all the appliances you could ask for. We absolutely love this place and plan to book here every summer, it’s become a family tradition and we couldn’t be more excited!

Exceded Expectations!

We can't wait to have a reason to return to this cabin! If you are on the fence, just book it...it's worth every penny! The view, the entertainment, the property is so much fun and you just can't beat being on a lake and enjoying it from 100 feet up the hillside.

Something for everyone

We had an amazing week. Bill has a great sense of humor and does not over or under communicate. The home is set back and we had a lot of privacy. There was something for everyone and we even ditched the plans to do Carowinds and whitewater facility to stay at the house. We enjoyed basketball, fishing, pickleball, card games, kayaking, smores on the firetable, grilling each night, the hot tub, and more! Everyone wants to go back. The sunsets were amazing. The house is close to outlets, grocery store, and some great breakfast spots.

as close you can get to charlotte and still be on lake. 2 miles off I 485. harris teeter groceries down rd and many restaurants and shopping 1 mile away everything new, built right on top of water.. pics are dated.. wil updated soon , have canoe and kayak now great fishing off dock(18 ft deep at end of dock and 3 Christmas trees under dock for "reefs" ) have Christmas trees under doc to attract fish.. back of house faces WNW so good sunset. .

as close to downtown charlotte as u can get and still be on lake 16.2 miles to trade and tryon intersection.. 2 mile off I 485 plenty of new restaurants
access to main channel of lake wylie / catawba river without having to drive to boonies.. golf everywhere all bedrooms have own full bath. each bathroom has its own unique tile and decor. .. bar was newly decorated with reclaimed wood.. expensive disco light in ceiling of basement moves to the note changes of music. i bailed on it and had stereo and TV 's all have their own independent Bluetooth system,. lot is 1.2 acres.. house was completed November 2017 real hardwoods throughout 2 large decks plus dock on main channel of lake Wylie Catawba river in Charlotte, best of both worlds if into fishing Christmas trees on pylons deep down for "reef" to attract fish plus theres green fishing light and minnow tap to attract fish with food..we have canoe and kayak
