Large porches and patio with outdoor speakers to enjoy cookouts and entertaining or just enjoying a yard game. Large deck for sunbathing, and floating dock for fishing and swimming.
Beyond the lake activities visit The McDowell Nature Preserve, Carowinds Theme Park, National Whitewater Park, Raptor Center, Discovery Place, Lowe's Motor Speedway, NASCAR Hall of Fame, Billy Graham Library Museum, Bank of America Stadium, Time Warner Arena, Verizon Amphitheater, art museums, restaurants, and shopping. Just 1 1/2 hours south to Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia SC or north to Asheboro Zoo.
We make every effort to make sure you have what you need to enjoy your time on the lake whether you're here for a family visit and sightseeing or bringing your boat to fish and experience Lake Wylie waters.
We take pride in our property and promise a clean and comfortable stay. No need to worry about linens, all you need is here. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare just about any meal and a gas grill and picnic table are on the patio for your outdoor cooking experience.
Relax on the back porch with a glass of wine, listening to music over the outdoor speakers or hang out in the game room complete with pool table, foosball, music and wide screen TV to enjoy all the sports!
Take a walk down the secluded drive and you will likely have deer visit in the evenings.
Blue heron, geese and other waterfowl are frequent visitors as well as many species of birds and woodpeckers.

Wonderful vacation home for our family reunion! Everything you could imagine needed is in the home for you. Entertainment with the pool table and foosball. We rented a boat locally and pulled it up to the dock. My great nephew caught his first fish! Communication with the owner was excellent. Considering renting again next year

Very clean and beautiful home. The house was well stocked and big enough for our entire family of 10. Butch and Lisa were wonderful to work with. The lake was fantastic for swimming. We would love to come back next summer!

The hosts have everything there that you might need for the kitchen and outside fun too! They were extremely helpful and quick with their responses to questions we had leading up to our long weekend trip on the lake. We enjoyed the beautiful property and intend on trying to get back there next year as well.

We enjoyed our stay at the Miller Lake House. There was plenty of room for clan and it was very comfortable. The grandsons really enjoyed fishing off the dock. This would be a place we would love to come back to if in the area again.

Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed this lake house! It’s located in a beautiful secluded high end area in Charlotte tucked away behind a neighborhood. It has beautiful large windows though-out the house and beautiful porches with a dock to take in the lake views. The house is well equipped with supplies to use in the kitchen and fishing poles, inflatables to use in the lake. This house feels like home and housed our 6 people party very well. Good communication with hosts and they even let us check out late to better accommodate our next check in on Vrbo later in the day at 4 since no one was scheduled to come right after us. Would come back!

The house is in a great location and very nice. The master bed was great, but the other rooms can use some improvements. My adult son did not fit in the little bed in the upstairs room and my daughter complained about the creakiness of the other bed. Hosts were very responsive and kitchen was well equipped. We could have used more bath towels so bring laundry detergent because you will have to do wash specially if you stay for a week.

I’m sorry you found the house less than expected in any way. There are always towel sets left for at least 8 guests as the bedrooms comfortably sleep. Your reservations said 2 guests but I see you had four. Not a problem since we always prepare for 8. Towels should not have been an issue. The twin beds are of normal size. I’m sorry your son was not comfortable. Thank you for taking the time to review.

Our family was there for high school graduation. Location very accessible. Neighbors were great. We had access to our own boat and dock very fun for fishing swimming and hanging out. House is comfortable and all we expected. Would repeat again.

This was the perfect place to gather family. Quiet, serene, and lots of nature. The only thing that could make it better would be having a boat available for use. We would certainly consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful time at the Miller house. Loved the lake view and easy access to it. The home is beautifully laid out for enjoyment and relaxation and the master bed was soo comfortable. The a/c worked great as well. Communication with Lisa was excellent and she was very responsive. We appreciated that. She was an excellent host. We hope to be back.
