Large porches and patio with outdoor speakers to enjoy cookouts and entertaining or just enjoying a yard game. Large deck for sunbathing, and floating dock for fishing and swimming.
Beyond the lake activities visit The McDowell Nature Preserve, Carowinds Theme Park, National Whitewater Park, Raptor Center, Discovery Place, Lowe's Motor Speedway, NASCAR Hall of Fame, Billy Graham Library Museum, Bank of America Stadium, Time Warner Arena, Verizon Amphitheater, art museums, restaurants, and shopping. Just 1 1/2 hours south to Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia SC or north to Asheboro Zoo.
We make every effort to make sure you have what you need to enjoy your time on the lake whether you're here for a family visit and sightseeing or bringing your boat to fish and experience Lake Wylie waters.
We take pride in our property and promise a clean and comfortable stay. No need to worry about linens, all you need is here. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare just about any meal and a gas grill and picnic table are on the patio for your outdoor cooking experience.
Relax on the back porch with a glass of wine, listening to music over the outdoor speakers or hang out in the game room complete with pool table, foosball, music and wide screen TV to enjoy all the sports!
Take a walk down the secluded drive and you will likely have deer visit in the evenings.
Blue heron, geese and other waterfowl are frequent visitors as well as many species of birds and woodpeckers.

We loved this property! The views were beautiful, and it had all the basics we needed (sheets, pillows, garbage bags, etc.). Check in and communication was easy. It was super spacious and comfortable, and clean!

Plenty of room for our family to enjoy the Christmas holiday together!

We enjoyed our time together at the lake house! Ample room for eight, and we all enjoyed the game room! Weather was too cold to be outside, but the scenery was lovely!

Perfection on the lake

The cleanest VRBO property I’ve ever stayed. We had a softball tournament in Rock Hill and this was the perfect location for a group of moms and daughters We played, came back and had big dinners and swam. Then when it got dark, the moms sat on the porch and the girls played pool and foosball. It was perfect. The house was amazing and quiet at night! The surprise that made us all so happy was the ice maker in the garage!! We could fill all our water jugs and coolers! Perfection on the lake! Highly recommend!!

Fabulous stay on the lake in wonderful home

Beautiful home in a cove that was super quiet. Everything you need to relax and enjoy. Furnishings were nice and the deck at top of the dock stairs with shade was a wonderful place to sit and talk after a refreshing swim. My only regret is that we did not book more days there!!!!

Birthday Celebration Long Weekend

Beautiful house! We had a wonderful long weekend stay celebrating the birthdays of our two oldest. The tweens enjoyed the game room when they weren't down swimming off the dock. My husband enjoyed the fact that he was able to dock his boat and could fish whenever he felt like it. The lake was busy but still beautiful. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.

Spring Break

This home was clean but unfortunately, upon arrival, there was a heavy smell of smoke and we didn’t want to use the oven. . The owners were quick to respond that something had burned in the oven, but the smell hung around for the entire weekend 😢. Beware the master bed is VERY HARD!!! Like sleeping on plywood 😳.

Charming large house on a peaceful cove

The house was great - it fit our needs very well. I loved the high ceilings, and even with all bedrooms full, we had room to spread out. It was wonderful to have plenty of living room seating for once in a rental. I had forgotten to bring floats and life jackets, but we found even those there. Being on the lake was a joy; the house is on a peaceful cove - no motorboat noise while we were there in the morning and early evening, and the lots are quite large; no other houses were on top of us. My only suggestion would be more lamps & warmer, brighter lightbulbs. We're a family of readers, and the house is more lit for watching TV.

Great stay at this home, all the location and amenities are accurate so I’ll mention the stuff we really enjoyed the most. We brought our own boat and the house dock was sizeable enough to use and nobody messed with items we left on the dock or in boat overnight. There is a great sheltered water ski run and swim sand bar nearby and boat traffic is not awful. The space in the house is awesome and plenty of chairs inside and out for lounging. There is a working ice machine in the garage for boat coolers, and lots of outdoor toys (we brought our own). The game room pool and foosball tables are great! Big kitchen and plenty of dishes/pots and pans. Thanks again, we had a great experience!

This house was perfect for our vacation! We had the best time swimming in the quiet cove and taking the pontoon boat out (Lake Wylie Boat Rental) and honestly just relaxing on the porch. And the house is so comfortable with a well appointed kitchen; basically everything you need on vacation but don't want to pack! The owner was extremely nice and communicative. We plan on renting this house again in the future!!

We had a great time time at the Miller’s. The house was perfect for entertaining 2 small children and provided a great backdrop for a long-awaited family portrait. It was very warm during our stay and being able to stroll down the steps to the lake to cool off made our stay all the more comfortable.Great spot!
