Our Lake House is located in the picturesque Pocono Mountains. Whether you are looking to get away from the busy city life to come relax or you are looking for some outdoor adventures, you have come to the right place! Our home is surrounded by all the outdoor activities you may come to expect from the Pocono Mountains. There is something to do no matter the season, from water parks in summertime to ski slopes in winter and our home has all the amenities to make you feel like at your home. Enjoy BBQing on the spacious deck overlooking Lake Carobeth with your family or friends, lounging on a hammock and drinking some wine. You can take kayaks or a canoe out from private dock. In the winter keep worm by two fireplaces while playing pool or chess. You can visit indoor water parks: Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, Aquatopia, H2Ooh-all within minutes from our house. You can go skiing at nearby Camelback, Blue Mountain Resort, or Jack Frost -Big Boulder Mountain. If you want to go gambling or dance, here is Mount Airy Casino. If you want a nice dinner out Desaki is a must or one of the restaurants at Mt Airy. You may also take a round of golf or go horseback riding.
If you like a bargain, you could spend the day at the Crossings Premium Outlets or go antiquing. If you are into hiking you may want to visit Bushkill Falls-the "Niagara Falls" of the Poconos. The famous Pocono Raceway is within reasonable distance. The community offers amenities for kids and adults.
You may cook at home as our kitchen is fully equipped, or go to one of the tons of fast food/chain restaurants: Chilli's, Red Robin, Olive Garden. You can go to enjoy other local restaurants: Desaki (Japanese), Bailey's Steak House, Pocono Brewery Pub, Smuggler's Cove (seafood) and many more.
Sorry but our house is for non-smokers. Minimum age limit for renters is 23.

My family had a blast on the lake. The view is phenomenal! So tranquil. Plenty of outdoor space for the adults, kids & dogs. Sitting around the fire, making smokes was enjoyable. The Jacuzzi is in a great location, & very clean. Game room is awesome. Plenty of games! Looking forward to returning.

We loved our stay, the home is nice and spacious and the view is amazing! So many areas to sit outside too. Loved seeing the deer that just wandered thru the yard. We definitely hope to come another time!

The house was just as pictured and we enjoyed all the amenities for a short weekend. The host is very communicative. There are a lot of rules and procedures to follow. We arrived right around check in time and registration at the front office took much longer than expected (about an hour). While we did really enjoy the house, we wouldn’t choose to stay in this community again.

So clean and so much to do. My crew of six (husband, MIL and three kids 20, 23, 24) have stayed in a few lake houses in the Poconos and we really loved this house. The kids used the game room every night. They sat at the bar and played games (so many games and books), listened to music, played pool and darts. We used the hot tub (like new) several nights. We used the fire pit and the kayaks and canoe multiple times. Lake Carobeth is quiet and peaceful. The grill and deck are awesome! We filled the bird feeders and watched every day as the blue jays and cardinals and so many other birds species came. They even have cornhole which we love. The deck is great with the lounge chairs. We went to the pool one day and it was big (but shallow) and played tennis almost daily. The beds were very comfortable and there were so many extra pillows and blankets.

This property was great. The host responded to any questions within a hour. Janina was great. The check in was smooth but took a good 30 minutes due to all the people checking in. Our grand kids ages 17-20 loved the fishing and kayaking. We spent most of our time in the dock area or fishing from the canoe or kayaks. The view is fabulous! It’s a very peaceful place, no motor boats. The deck off the great room is huge and has a beautiful view of the lake. The neighborhood is ok. We did not take advantage of any of the amenities but they looked nice. Anybody that loves peace and quiet will enjoy this home. This was the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. Thanks for a great family vacation.

Wonderful Pocono lake house

This house was an excellent spot for our vacation. The owners were very easy to communicate with and the property was in great condition. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe, the pool table, and beautiful view from the deck.

Great getaway for family.

Rent a house each year October weekend and this is one of the top choices. Clean, good beds, lots of room. Good showers and great BBQ grill. Lake was great for fishing from dock. Communication with Janine was great and helpful.

This was an excellent stay! The host is great and made check in/checkout easy. The dock, kayaks, firepit, pool table, darts and foosball table gave the kids so much to do and we caught a ton of fish (perch, bass and various bluegill varieties!) The kitchen was perfect for making food for all of us and the multiple sitting areas was great for relaxing times. We do this type of trip often and this was one of our favorites and really was a great value considering the waterfront which was beautiful! Thanks for making this a memorable trip!

A Gem on the Lake

Fantastic property and amenities Clean throughout and lots of space with different rooms, many with TV in them Views are great, can see Lake from hot tub right in front of you Kitchen well equipped Pool table and dart board and many board games to spend time playing Would highly recommend, and we look forward to our next stay here

Restorative stay in rural PA by the water

Our stay at the Pocono country place was relaxing and restorative. The home was clean and comfortable, accommodating, and filled with great activities. The home is right on the lake, and filled with games, grilling equipment, water-side lounging, and a great spot for camp fires. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly and located near several state parks. Perfect for a relaxing stay in the beautiful PA countryside!

Wonderful Lake Vacation!

The property was amazing! The house was comfortable & clean and the yard is well done. The kids loved the various games in the home and being able to swim in the lake and take the canoe out right from the backyard. Adults enjoyed the hot tub at night. Wildlife is a plenty! My daughter has already asked to return to this property next summer :)

Quiet, Private Lakefront Getaway

We had a wonderful family vacation at the lakefront property. The home offers more amenities than other lakefront sites, including the private dock, canoe/kayaks, covered hot tub and sitting area. It offers the best balance of indoor/outdoor activities, perfect for this era's unpredictable weather. We'd consider staying again and trying a different season. The community is quiet and was within easy driving distance of all the essentials. Hosts were very responsive and made everything incredibly easy for us.

Clean house, great location

We recently stayed at this house for MLK weekend with another family. The house was easy to get to, great location for both camelback and kalahari, very clean, and comfortable. There was so much to do, even in the winter. The owners were great to work with and made the rental process very easy. The only thing of note is that the the second bedroom on the Main floor is a double bed, not a queen. We all had so much fun, It didn’t make a difference!

Great Lakeside House

You can read all the other positive reviews about this house, and I can tell you they are all true! A lot of nice outdoor seating options, a working hot tub, a pool table - plus a dock to fish from. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed. BBQ grill worked great. Lastly, the property is also laid out well re the neighbors. No one too close and it’s pretty private. Highly recommended!

Excellent House for a Lake Getaway

My family recently stayed at this house and found the accommodations to be exactly as described, which were fantastic. The owners Janine and Julian were very courteous, accommodating, very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The lake was beautiful and we used the owner's kayaks several times. Fishing, swimming right off the dock, and floating in tubes was relaxing and fun for the small children. Amenities were excellent including 3 TV's, a pool table, darts and games for rainy days. Large wrap-around deck with easy access to the lake made our outdoor time very enjoyable. We also spent one afternoon at the community pool which was fantastic for the children. Between the wonderful accommodations and the thoughtful and considerate home owners, this was a place my family will be sure to come back to again in future summers.

Our neighborhood is a gated community. It is a safe and quiet place surrounded by the beautiful Lake Carobeth. You can find tons of activities and everything is within minutes from our house: kayaking, boating, fishing, rafting, swimming, skiing, golfing, zip lining, back horse riding, tubing, hiking, shopping, biking, and many more.

What makes this property unique

Our Lake House is located in the picturesque Pocono Mountains. Guests have access to the entire home and lake with a private dock. Feel free to use a BBQ on a deck overlooking Lake Carobeth or take a boat and two kayaks by the private dock- we hope you enjoy it! Benefit from a hot tub (seasonal) or keep warm by a fireplace while playing pool.
The community has a beach with paddle boat, small snack restaurant, mini golf and swimming pool (at additional cost) open in summer. Weather permitting, you have access to the playground, tennis court, and basketball courts.
Our house offers you everything from linens to hair dryer and iron & board, coffee maker, central heat, central AC, comfortable beds and smart TVs in the living room, the entrance, and in the game room. There is a pool table and a dart board.
