All Bedrooms and living room have T.V's . The bathrooms have full body spray showers. A Printer and small desk for those who need to stay connected.

Outstanding accomodations

Owner was exceptionally accomodating and friendly. Unit was well equipped and fully met our needs for a group of eleven. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

Great place to stay for family vacation

This place was probably the best equipped VRBO we have ever stayed in. The resort had a lot of amenities and the pool was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

Kihei gem

3 small families had plenty of room to spread out. Large family kitchen was well-equipped and provided a gathering spot for breakfasts together. The pool is located steps from Unit 5A and it is very large and super clean. We throughly enjoyed our stay here at the Koa Resort. The lanai leads directly onto the spacious gardens with plenty of room for young ones to run around. A great place for families!

awesome place

We were a group of 9 and the place was incredible. There was more than enough room for all of us and the use of the vehicle was a huge help for getting us around the island. Everyone enjoyed their time and loved the pool as well as the proximity to the beach. Highly recommend staying here

great for large family

We were there for our son's wedding. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 children. The unit had everything we needed for the beach. The kitchen was stocked the best of any rental I have used. We would use this property again.

Great Location & All the Amenities You Need!

The location was perfect and the resort is very nice! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub & shuffle board. The use of the vehicle was truly a value added bonus along with the beach chairs, masks, fins, towels, ice chests and very well equipped kitchen! We all agreed the beds were very comfortable! We loved the large dining table, so we could all spread out to catch up on a few necessary biz emails but mostly for games & lots of laughing! Great place, perfect for a large family!

Great home for a large group! Loved the location, and the pool is perfect for small children.

This large condo is well equipped, and a great size for large groups. Short drive to some great beaches, and nice quiet location. We loved that the pool was just a few short steps away, and some great restaurants within walking distance. Lots of green space for the kids to play and run around in! It was a nice bonus to have a large vehicle included. Only thing it's missing is an ocean view, but beach is just across the street.

Near the beach in Kihei

We had a wonderful time in that 4 bedroom condo; walking distance to the beach (turtles hiding on rocks when you enter the beach and make a right); surfing beach for beginners not far. The kitchen is great, lots of utensils to cook; the bedroom with all the beds where awesome for all our kids; pool in the community is great (and a hot tub) Communication is great

Great location Comfy beds!

We stayed for 6 nights at this great little condo - with 14 people total - 3 generations of family! Everyone had a place to sleep and a seat at the huge dining table. The kitchen was super organized and we were really close to both Safeway & Foodland which made cooking at home really easy! 3 full bathrooms and really comfortable beds, PLUS all of the equipment for babies, sand toys, snorkel gear etc. etc. made this the perfect get-a-way for a large family! Great pool & hot tub too... and the clean, uncrowded beach was a perfect 2 minute walk away!

The house and location exceeded our highest expectations. Yolanda and Leo were so easy to work with, flexible and always getting back to us quickly. The car, which our granddaughter named “Houston”, was such a plus. Just an outstanding vacation celebrating a milestone birthday and anniversary. Would love to come back. For now, will have some incredible memories.

Family Trip to Maui

This property was perfect for our family group of 11 which included five adults and six children age 10 months to eight years. We really appreciated all of the beach toys and beach chairs along with the wagon to cart it all to the beach. We spent part of every day at the pool and also made use of the tennis courts and the barbecues in the cabana area. The kitchen was stocked with every kind of pot, bowls, dishes and appliances that you would need. We were able to use the property vehicle which was awesome so we didn’t have to rent a second car. The owners were easy to work with and we highly recommend this property for family groups of all ages! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect condo for our group of 11

From the number of beds to the large table and roomy kitchen, the condo was spacious enough for us. It was great having the huge grassy area for the kids, they could just go out the back door and run around. The Suburban came in handy as we were able to load it up and head to the beach! We also rented 2 cars and were able to park them in the condo lot. Yolanda went above and beyond being available when I had questions for her. Thanks for a great family vacation!

Great Maui Getaway

Leo & Yolanda were amazing hosts! They were responsive to texts and were very helpful. We LOVED the house. 8 adults and 3 kids all fit wonderfully. The location was perfect for us to be at different beaches each day and not be far from home - there is even a beach within walking distance of the unit. Pool is close by and grill area was fun for a couple of dinners at home. The appliances in the home are all up to date and the kitchen is set up perfectly to make meals for your large group. Across from the beach

The condo is exactly as represented -- across the street is the beach, the condo is well stocked with towels, nice appliances, great local support (got picked up and delivered to/from the airport!). There are plenty of dishes so you don't have to run the dishwasher all the time, a great washer and dryer. The Suburban is a great perk and did the road to Hana just fine. The owner was extremely responsive to my emails and very helpful. Kihei is a great central location for going north to Lahaina or south to Hana. It has a lot less traffic than Kahului. There was a Safeway and Long's nearby.

Kihei Condo Review

Our family very much enjoyed staying in the Wattel's Kihei condo. We were in Maui with two of our daughters, their husbands and their young children - the condo had everything we needed for 3 kids ages 7 mos, 18 mos and 3 yrs old. The proximity to the beach and swimming pool was such an advantage. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances were all very, very nice! The guys in our family especially loved the shower fixtures! Plenty of beds and tvs for everyone! The bathroom with the tub is a little funky and could use a remodel but this was such a minor issue that it didn't detract from the overall stay. The Wattel's were very responsive to any and all questions. We would definitely stay here again!!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!! What a delight to find the fresh fruit upon our arrival! So thoughtful. Your home is outfitted with everything an active family with young children need for comfort, fun and adventure...from all the baby equipment, the toys, the ocean equipment--snorkels and fins. Plus the kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. The layout of the home with the fun room upstairs with the bunk beds for the kids worked out great!! And thank you for the use of your Suburban. Perfect Property

This condo was perfect for our family of 9, ages 2 1/2 to 73. The layout provided great separation - family with 3 kids upstairs, the other 2 couples downstairs. There is lots of room to spread out on the main floor. The huge lanai opens up to the grassy area, the pool is about 30 feet away. Our toddler loved playing on the grass. The resort grounds are very nice. The condo is very well stocked: kitchen, beach items, toys and games, baby items and tourist information. The seniors really appreciated ‘regular sized’ lawn chairs! This condo is very good value, with the added bonus of the use of the Suburban. It is in a good location. It is an older unit, needs some updating, but this does not affect staying here.

Anniversary Trip

We stayed at Yolanda & Leo’s house for 7 days and had a wonderful time. There were 11 of us in the group. The distance from the beach was great. We did a walk to the brewery one morning and stayed for lunch. It was challenging for Me at 70 and bad lungs but rewarding to make it!! You definitely need a vehicle. We used the vehicle from the house and rented one to accommodate everyone. If there was any problem (like the dishwasher failing) it was dealt with promptly. Actually they replaced the dishwasher! They are truly great hosts, available and yet they do not bother you at all. Thanks for a week of wonderful memories!

Perfect Location & Lots of Aloha

My Scout group (11 travelers) stayed here for a week to celebrate our girls going to high school. From the very first communication with Yolanda there was so much Aloha! She was very responsive to all of my questions and willing to help us with our trip. The island agent/contact was also very helpful. The condo itself is very spacious and well equipped. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, and kitchen items for all 11 of us. The rooms were wonderful - the beds were comfy, the decor was very nice, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax. It really is only a short walk to the beach. The condo has lots of beach gear to use like toys, boogie boards, snorkel sets, and chairs. There was enough for all 11 of us to enjoy the beach gear. The Suburban was icing on an already wonderful cake. It was waiting for us at the airport and the instructions for retrieving it/returning it were clearly communicated. Our stay was so perfect that many of my Scouts didn't want to come home! I didn't want to return home either! Mahalo to Leo & Yolanda for sharing their beautiful home and vehicle with my group.

Ideal For Our Family Group

There is not a lot to add to what other reviewers have liked about this property. It was wonderful for our group of 11-2 grandparents,2 adult children with their spouses and 5 grandchildren, ranging in age from 11 months to 16 years. Kids, except 11 month old, all slept in big bunk bedroom: - Yolanda and Lee were extremely responsive throughout the reservation and check in process and were quick to respond to any questions or issues - Having the Suburban for 9 people was a wonderful benefit. We did have a problem with the battery - but that was quickly resolved. - The kitchen was adequately equipped. We were only missing a cocktail shaker - had the top but no bottom! Such a first world problem! The refrigerator was so roomy. Many spices and other non perishables left by prior guests - The dining table fit all of us comfortably - The washer and dryer were large! - The large shallow end of the pool was wonderful for the younger children. I believe the pool was the highlight of the 3 year old's trip - All of the infant and toddler equipment- pack and play, high chair, etc - were a big help. Look for items under the Master Bed - in platform - There were plenty of beach chairs and beach toys for all. Even coolers to tote beverages to pool and beach. - Plenty of towels and beach towels - There was a small Christmas tree and festive decorations waiting for our Dec 21st arrival-especially appreciated by those of us who have never been away from home for Christmas! - Easy drive to Safeway for groceries, Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice (don't miss!), the fruit market/arts and crafts stand, and restaurants. I highly recommend this property!

This was an excellent place for the family to establish as the "base of operations" for our stay in Maui. The check-in process was easy, and Yolanda was great to work with. We were so grateful for items such as ice chests, snorkeling gear, umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach towels. The Suburban was a great addition and a very convenient way to load the tribe up and move around! We will definitely stay here again.

We are thankful to God for blessing us with 9 wonderful children. We have homeschooled for 19 years. 3 have graduated.
We are self employed and fully certified in construction & concrete.
We love Jesus and it is our desire to follow and serve Him.

Why they chose this property

This property is very pretty. When this 1800 sq ft unit became available to us, we saw this as a wonderful opportunity for our large family. It is very hard for larger families to vacation because the units are often two small. As parents of 9, we see the need for large families to also be blessed with a down time with their children building fun memories in a home away from home. They to need a break away from everything. So we would love to bless them with this opportunity. It is know approximately 2000 sq ft

ere is so much misinformation even coming from the travel industry. We are NOT CLOSED. Lahaina is gone completely and we are grieving an unbearable loss; but IF WE LOSE OUR VISITORS••• we are not able to help our Ohana that have lost everything. If you usually stay on the west side, consider staying on the beautiful south side of Maui. ⚠️🛑
