About this property

Your SKI IN SKI OUT *home* for the holidays! Mtn views! Walk to Main St. TEP2

Ascend to alpine ambiance and rejuvenate your spirit in this meticulously appointed penthouse unit (managed by Ski Country Resorts Vacation Rentals). Nestled on the top floor of Breckenridge's popular ski in ski out Trails End Complex, this multi-level gem invites you into 1,200 square feet of rustic elegance fused with modern comforts.

In the kitchen, rich wooden cabinets filled with all you'll need for culinary creations set the stage for memorable meals. Start your mornings with a hearty breakfast or end your days with a delightful dinner in this heartwarming space. Gather your loved ones around the chic countertop bar, an intimate nook with seating for four, or convene at the dining table that graciously accommodates six. Here, the lively plotting of tomorrow's adventures can take place over the shared joy of a homecooked meal.

In the nearby living room, adorned with plush couches and side chairs, you'll find a sanctuary for relaxation. Lose yourself in a cinematic journey on the DVD-equipped TV or delve into the pages of a vacation read, all while the gas fireplace casts a golden glow and soothing warmth that envelops the room.

The private deck, a stage for the grandeur of the mountains, is a tranquil oasis where the whisper of a cool mountain breeze and breathtaking vistas craft a backdrop for unforgettable moments of serenity.

Retreat to the master bedroom, a haven of repose where a King bed awaits accentuated by elegant wood furnishings. Next, the second bedroom offers a cozy Queen bed dressed in snug bedding. Above, the open loft area features yet another Queen bed and a cozy eyrie adorned with mountain-inspired décor.

Also upstairs, the third bedroom offers a secluded alcove furnished with two Twin beds. Finally, the fourth bedroom, a compact enclave offering its own little retreat, features a Twin Bunk bed and additional Twin bed. Combined, these sleeping quarters, along with Queen sofa sleeper in the living room, ensure that the unit can sleep up to twelve guests in comfort. And the three opulent bathrooms, replete with new stone countertops, await to wash away the exertions of the day with a steaming shower or a languid bath.

Trails End Condominiums boasts more than just an unbeatable location, steps from the Peak 9 base and within walking distance to the town's dining, shopping and nightlife. Here, you're just steps away from all the activities that make Breckenridge a premier destination year-round. Onsite amenities include free parking for one vehicle, an oversized outdoor hot tub, on-site laundry facilities that uses a smart-phone app for payment, coin-operated ski storage, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.

Trails End is going to be undergoing construction starting when the Base of Peak 9 closes for the 24/25 ski season. Once closed, Trails End's hot-tubs and sauna will be shut off, and they will block the rear entrance of the building for a major remodel. The closure will likely take place from mid-April to December. The HOA tells us that noise may occur through the complex while they work.

The Upper Village Pool Complex is scheduled to close April 13th and reopen May 23rd.

Guests of Trails End enjoy seasonal access to the Upper Village Pool Complex - where a heated pool and additional hot tubs await to invigorate or relax. (Please note, seasonal access is subject to Spring/Fall closures)

Trails End 602 is not just a place to stay—it's a realm where every detail caters to creating your perfect mountain getaway, no matter the season. So don't wait, book your stay today!

Great Long Ski Weekend

My family of 4 really enjoyed this location. It is so close to the base of Peak 9 - walking out with your skis to the lift and skiing back in for breaks is ideal if you enjoy Peak 9. Overall, this rental has ample space (grandparents were able to stay with us for a couple of nights) and a functional kitchen for eating meals in and relaxing together. We really enjoy the hot tub on site - will be great if the other gets firxed - as well as those close by. Thanks again for a fun, quick stay!

Great condo and location

Now sure why this condo doesn’t have a 10 rating. Everything was first rate. Must have been a renovation since the lower ratings. Checkin was flawless. Great location! Will stay here again. They send you a code to get into the room and that is all you need to get started.

Great location

This unit is a little bit dated and shows a little wear and tear, but this was not significant enough to diminish our stay. The location was great, walk to downtown. Enjoyed the hot tub but didn't try the pool. We arrived early and couldn't park in the lot until the unit became available even though there were many empty spaces. Key pickup was a separate location. I wish I could give this 4.5 stars.

Great for families and an easy walk to town.

Nice accommodations for large families. The upper floor gets a bit warm on summer days due to no windows being upstairs for circulation. I can definitely see the benefit to staying in this condo during ski season. Great location and a short walk to restaurants, bars and shopping.

Old but great location

Great location for a “ski in ski out” place to stay in Breckenridge. Definitely in need of a makeover, as everything in the condo is old and dated….even the jacuzzi and sauna. Outstanding communications with the staff for any issues and the “check in and check out” process.

Could have been better

The communication and customer service was not great. Upon arrival, we found that an electrical outlet was missing a cover, the curtain rod was broken, and the hot tubs at the facility were still out of order. There was no flexibility on two parking spots and we were charged for a missing blanket. We will not be staying here again.

Great location for skiing and walking to town

House is in an excellent location with great Mountain View’s from kitchen/living room. Walking distance to lift and town .condo is outdated and worn but good enough if you don’t need the finest fit and finished Water pressure is awesome. If you rent here , make sure you bring everything, there are no coffee filters , or any spices or extras for cooking . There is literally 3 coffee mugs . So we had to buy some paper cups . But the unit is big enough to sleep 6-8 people . Beds and pillows were good .

Perfect location!

Cannot emphasize how quick and easy it is to ski-in/ski-out to Peak 9 base area, and to walk to town from this unit. More than enough room for our family of 4. Kitchen was perfectly stocked and had fine appliances. Good quality living and dining furniture/spaces. Bedrooms had plenty of storage (closets/dressers). Convenient ski-locker and laundry. Unit entry also has great storage for ski gear. We enjoyed the balcony (perfect place to watch a moose wander by!) and the view. Rental company was prompt to respond to any question we had. Only minor downsides: large indoor hot tub was closed for our stay (but we really enjoyed the smaller outdoor one!), electrical outlets and switches need to be upgraded/replaced (quite old, confusing, not enough for modern devices), shower head in master bath should be replaced. Want to emphasize that these are all minor inconveniences - we truly loved our stay here! Perfect location for skiers of any ability and non-skiers.

Good Location

We were always coming and going and it was a nice location to walk to and from Main St. We had two double strollers with us and inside the front entrance, there’s many stairs, without any other option to enter the property, so had to carry strollers up and down stairs multiple times per day. This was also troublesome when loading/unloading vehicles. The property needs some major love/improvement. There are many cosmetic eyesores such as old towel bars removed, hardware still intact, just painted over. The upstairs can get quite warm while sleeping, but the property management brought over fans within minutes of requesting. No dishwashing pods/cleaner provided - so pack your own! It was overall a good stay with a great location.

Dated, stuffy condo

Oversee all would not recommend this rental. The positives: The condo had recent kitchen and flooring updates. The kitchen nicely stocked for a nice meal. Negatives: Appartment needs some updates. Unfortunately the condo toilets were old and had poor flushing capability. Spent numerous times plunging and reflushing. When you have 9 people in the rental, this can get unpleasant! With no air conditioning in the unit and lack of proper ventilation, all three kids ended up on the couches and parents bedrooms 2/3. nights. Rooms just too stuffy even when outdoor evening temps were in the upper 50s!!

Week Getaway

This is a nice, large condo very close to downtown and lots of hiking trails. The unit is quiet and was very clean, more than enough beds and room for large families - we had 9 at one time and there was plenty of space. The hot tub was great! Furniture was a bit scratched up but really, who cared as long as it was clean?? Kitchen was very clean and had plenty of dishes. We had to request more towels and they were delivered to the door very quickly that same day. Check in/out was super easy and fast. The only issue we had was the change machine for the laundry was not working. When I called the property managers to let them know after several days of no change, their response was "well, it's Saturday....there's a free shuttle on Saturday that you can use to go to a laundromat." I was a little taken by surprise by that and when we checked out 3 days later the change machine still wasn't working. But - would stay here again. Maybe just prepared with quarters next time.

Trailsend Condo with Mountain View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed there for a week at the end of January 2022. The view from the condo never got old; it was beautiful. The garage parking was nice; we had 2 cars & the second car had to parked in the outside parking lot. When we got there on Saturday, the lot was nearly full. We found a parking spot & left that car in place for the rest of the week. The wifi & cable tv worked well; we were able to be online & entertained in the evening. The condo was more than adequate for 8 people (4 couples); 2 of the couples stayed in the upstairs loft which meant that they slept either in twin beds of bunkbeds & shared a bath. The upstairs bedroom with twin beds had no privacy from the hallway (it could use a curtain in the window); There were some issues regarding the condition of the unit: the gas fireplace quit working the first day we arrived; the dining room was cold & drafty (possibly because of the gas fireplace problem), the lighting in the bedrooms was dim; hot water for showers ran out & required 15-20 minutes before the next warm shower could happen; there were 2 clothes hangers in the entire condo (someone in our party gifted the condo 6 when we left); we ran out of toilet paper halfway through our stay & had to do a toilet paper run to the store); the coffee maker was ready to retire but still worked. With all the minor complaints, we would book this condo again without hesitation. The view, the location (closeness to beginner slopes & lifts; walking distance to town & bus services); the luxury of a ski-in/ski-out place to stay made this a great experience. The property was clean. The reservation process was easy & very accommodating. Check out was very streamlined. I would recommend this unit to a friend.

The LOCATION is NOT TO SHABBY!

The BEST thing about this condo is the LOCATION. . . with that said, it is a SHAME that the condo is somewhat "shabby". My FIRST comment is that my nightly fee should comfortably cover enough trash bags, salt & pepper, coffee filters and some dishwasher detergent. I felt those items were unrealistically "rationed" but basic enough to justify including. The kitchen is JUST BARELY STOCKED...if you indicate you accommodate 12+ people, there should be kitchen supplies for that size. Instead, the pots and pans are small for that crowd if you plan to cook - and as previously mentioned (but clearly IGNORED!!!!) there are ZERO bowls for mixing or serving pasta or salad. Additionally, you NEED to FIX the broken kitchen drawers!!! In fact a kitchen update is really in order before I would rent again. The living space is fine for the price point....not luxurious but decent. You SHOULD have someone look at the sofa sleepers - one seems to have a bad spring. Gas fireplace is nice, patio is beautiful, COULD HAVE USED some lightbulbs....and a BROOM would have been fabulous -and USED :) especially since there is no daily housekeeping. The master bed is comfy. But on MOST of the beds, it looks like the blankets and comforters are VINTAGE? Kind of yucky. Finally, the bathrooms are OK, not luxury but clean. However, the dangling soap dish and the master sink drain that doesn't stay open need some attention. Also, large parties be aware that the condo has it's own hot water heater that runs out if showers are not scattered and timed right. Since you are a MANAGEMENT COMPANY and not a true VRBO, I realize that attention to detail in EVERY SINGLE UNIT is difficult but THIS property (and its owner) could truly benefit from a little bit of TLC. 3/5 stars is primarily for location and price. Breckenridge is a great ski town. Trails End is a fabulous location. THIS condo could be easily improved.....but Ski Country Resorts was easy to deal with and attentive to the issues that came up.
