I am a 5th generation Floridian, born and raised in Highlands County. I am emersed in the outdoors of "OLD FLORIDA" and love being able to host a place that other travelers can come and enjoy these amazing places around the Heartland of Florida
Why they chose this property
Avon Park Lakes is nestled in a unique area. It's small town charm and location makes it a perfect place to enjoy all that Central Florida has to offer. We are dead center of the state with only an hour and a half to each coast. 1+ hour to Disney, 35 minutes to Legoland. 1+ hour to Bush Gardens. This area is so beautiful with massive amounts of unspoiled Florida wilderness to explore. Highlands Hammock State park, Payne's Prairie State Park, Bok Tower Gardens are just some of the amazing places within an hour drive from Gladiola Dr.
