Tidewater Beach Resort high-rise condominium has everything you need for a fun and relaxing family getaway. Just 1/3 of a mile from Pier Park, the location is perfect. Two 5,000-foot lagoon pools with jacuzzi, a junior Olympic-sized indoor heated pool, and a fitness center with steam room, sauna, and two Roman hot tubs make this one of the most luxurious resorts in Panama City Beach! The west side pool has a Tiki Bar and ice cream/sundries shop open March–October. There is also a computer library on 3rd floor. The ground floor has a movie theater and plays free movies during high season! Kids will love the arcade with a foosball table, darts, pool, air hockey, and video games.Everyone in the unit must be 25 or older unless they are a child of a registered guest. Note: Not included is the one time $39.59 plus tax amenities fee. Tidewater will charge you upon arrival for parking passes/pool bands

Perfect weekend beach getaway.

The property was well-maintained and right on the beach. We had no trouble reserving the included beach chairs and finding a parking spot. I really liked that it was away from the crowded areas of the beach but close to Pier Park.

The condo was great. It had two swimming pools both with hot tubs, a Starbucks, movie theatre, arcade and several other things. The condo was directly on the beach with beautiful views!

Amazing vacation/ condo lacks cleanliness

We had a blast and would rent again. But, I would bring extra bath towels and cleaning supplies. Balcony covered in bird poop when we arrived. Every ceiling fan in the condo looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. Bare minimum in terms of kitchen supplies, which is ok but I wish I had a list before I left home.

The only complaint is the company that sells the chairs told us the only chairs that could be set up in the dry sand were the ones they rent. We were told we need to set up our chairs that we brought with us in the wet sand. They were making several guest of the Tide Water move their chairs from the dry sand to the wet sand. This has not happened at any other condo that we have rented in PCB.

The bathrooms and fans need a deep cleaning. The kitchen blender doesn't work, I had to go buy one at the last minute because I was cooking. And the hotel occupies the entire beach front with the chairs they rent, they leave little space to put our own umbrellas and chairs, and they get upset if you get close to the chairs they rent.

Decent stay but NEEDS better cleaning!!

My husband & I booked short trip to PCB. We knew this was a busy weekend so elevator wait times & beach being crowded was expected. We gave this unit 2 stars because of the cleanliness issue. Positives: came stocked with starter kits, linens, hairdryer/amenities etc. checking in was a breeze, GREAT balcony with a fantastic view & very spacious. Negatives: balcony was filthy and had leftover cookies..sliding balcony door barely opened-had black mold.. dirty coffe cups in the cabinet and food particles left in garbage disposal! We are prospecting units to buy so we saw other well kept units within Tidewater. We would return to Tidewater but NOT to this unit!

Hope you enjoy stairs!

Upon arrival to our unit there was a cleaning cart in the front door. The cleaning cart had simply just been left behind along with a dirty wash cloth over the master shower and a dirty towel over the middle bath. There was a “mix up” in our arrival date is what the manger told us by someone would be to correct this. At bedtime we wanted to shower and get in bed. No wash cloths or towels were anywhere to be found. There were also no sheets on the king bed. Contacted manager again, no response. Breakfast time, my dad gets “clean” dishes out of the cabinet and they’re dirty. He had to wash everything he used prior to cooking on it. There were still popsicle sticks and chips on the balcony as well. By this time I had just decided our room hadn’t been cleaned at all. I again reached out to the manager and she said they were running behind but someone would come. We headed on down to the beach BUT not before a 45 minute wait to get an elevator. It was like this the entire three days we were there. We used the stairs MANY times to avoid waiting an hour or better for an elevator. Time we couldn’t (when going to the beach due to the wagon and kids toys etc) we just had to wait. Get back from the beach and the the towels and wash cloths were just laid on my suitcase. No sheets were left for the bed. Contacted the manger AGAIN and she assured us someone would be over. Someone did come at bedtime with brand new sheets which had to be washed. Nice condo. Poor management!

The view was amazing!!! The location, great! The condo is beautiful and very nice. It could have been cleaner- moldy shower curtain and broken toilet seat. The bed was comfortable. The check in process was terrible!!! You have to park, go inside through the parking deck, register (even though you did everything ahead of time) go back to check out a cart, leave your drivers license, go back to parking deck, load your cart, come back inside, wait on elevators, empty cart, return cart to get drivers license back. It was exhausting!!!! Once we got unloaded we very much enjoyed our stay! Other than an old man who works there yelling filthy words at us. The pools are beautiful and the ocean is breathtaking!!! I would stay here again but I would take cleaning supplies with me!

Great condo only 4 stars due to the elevator situation which is no fault of the condo owner. Be prepared to spend at least 20-30 mins waiting on elevators if you are on one of the top floors.

8th floor beats out other units

8th floor was just the right height, especially with the elevator issues. You have to access the ground floor for the beach, 1st floor for the restaurant and 2nd floor for the parking garage, and being on the 8th floor we struggled anytime with elevators. I definitely wouldn't want to be any higher up. The room was great! The view was amazing!

Some disappointments but didn't ruin the trip!

The condo was as expected from the pictures. Overall, it was satisfactory. However, on the morning of our check-out, I see a bed bug in the bed and am totally grossed out at that point! Our check-in did not go smoothly because I never received a code in my email. Upon arrival the security gave us our bands but we had to go through VRBO central line for them to get to the owner who then sent the code. NOTE: Get the code before departure!! 2 hrs later we were able to enter! I get my emails on my phone and don't delete any...it was never sent.... perhaps an oversight. The TV in the bedroom and the living room operate differently. The living room should have instructions...that was a pain! I read the reviews about the elevators being slow. The reviews that I read were written in 2019 so I thought that they surely must have corrected the problem! Nope! Walked up to the 8th FL several times...faster than waiting!

For our honey moon

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfectly spaced out and had a great view with the perfect deck seating! I loved that even though it was just the two of us this time that if it were four of us the guest that had the bunk beds still had there own restroom! The elevators were alittle slow and most of them were out of order but all in all a great trip!

Loved the unit!

We absolutely loved unit 312! The decor was so cute and everything was so tastefully decorated. However, Tidewater was EXTREMELY busy. Getting an elevator was nearly impossible and several were out of order. Luckily we were only on the 3rd floor and could mostly take the stairs. It was also a pain that the parking garage was across the street. In the future I won't stay somewhere so close to Pier Park. The traffic was terrible. We loved the unit, if we could move it and put it on a quieter end of the beach I'd easily give it 5 stars!

Condo and view were stunning. The most disappointing thing was that there was NO toilet paper upon arrival. Went to front desk and was told they could not help us. So in short, bring your own toilet paper.

Really nice for small family

condo 804 at Tidewater was nice and clean. As you enter the room, the master bedroom door is on your right. The sheets were old school itchy and mattress could be newer. We felt many lumps and springs as lots of squeaks. Nice large master bathroom. Shower really needs a curved curtain rod to keep the shower curtain from vacuuming in as you shower. The weights did nothing in the existing one. The curved rod would easily upgrade the shower for very little money. The bunkbeds are along the hall near the entry door and mastbedroom door. Them the washer/dryer unit. Loved having these available. Then a regular bathroom. Decently stocked kitchen, only missing a can opener. Should include salt/pepper. Hopefully the ones we bought will stay. Dining table was nice. It folds out to accommodate a larger group as well as seating at the kitchen bar. Nice size balcony with 4 chair and 2 end tables. Would enjoy a recliner for sunbathing, but was nice overall. Our time didn't have beach towels or any water toys etc. Thankfully we brought our own. Overall nice stay.
