It is a long walk to the beach. Everything was very clean. The construction going on was a downside, we could not open the patio doors.

Be warned: lots of construction in and around this property! None of the codes worked for the pool area. Broken lights and missing light bulbs ( I had to notify and they were repaired) in the condo. No trash bags and lack of information on where to put trash. Overall, we had to reach out to the management company 3 times! We were only there for three days and had to spend our time inquiring about items which should be correct and noted. There is not a binder of information anywhere and the online portal lacks the correct and updated information! For the price, this experience was not worth it. The amount of construction is crazy and drills and hammers the entire time we were at the pool. After having a local real estate agent help us with the correct code since it was incorrect (as I was on the phone with company). I would wait at least a year until the construction is complete because of all the noise and issues.

We have stayed in Watersound several times and this time was great outside of the construction which I was unaware of prior to booking. Due to construction, a large nail became stuck in my rear tire, and I spent most of the day getting someone to come out and put on the spare. The workers started at 8am resulting in no relaxing mornings. In addition, when I was walking to the beach by the pool, the workers on the scaffolding screamed down if they could have my phone number in front of my 13 and 16 year daughters, which I found inappropriate. I did appreciate the early check in at 3pm and the condo was very nice.
