Great Condo, Great Beach

We really enjoyed our stay here. Tybee has so much to offer for a beachy vacation. This condo with its patio was amazing, and super close to pools and beach. Every restaurant we went to was 5 stars out of 5, too.

Great Location

We loved our stay at Tybee Beach. We were never had to leave the property to access the beach. The pools were nice. The food on the property and at the local restaurants is really good. We loved being close to Savannah and Hilton Head too. Highly recommend this property.

I surprised my mom with a mini vacation to stay in this house. She really enjoyed it! Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. I highly recommend this house!

Nice family place

We had a great stay at this condo. It was clean and we all loved the hot tub. The restaurant was close by and had great food and the pools were nice. Our only issue was that the queen bed was squeaky and uncomfortable, it needs replacing (especially at this price point, it’s fair to expect a bed we can use). We loved our stay otherwise and would return if we knew the queen bed was replaced.

When we arrived, our room had not been cleaned. We called and the person said they would notify someone. Called back 30 minutes later and he said the cleaning crew would be there within 30 minutes. 45 minutes go by and the cleaning crew shows up to clean the place. There was no offer for a later check out or anything to make up for the time we lost just waiting. The hot tub was set to 80 and we weren’t able to use it until much later in The evening. Aside from that, the keypad on the door was a bit of a pain to type in the door combo. The condo overall was nice, in a good location, and massive.

We loved our stay here! The hot tub is perfect and the pools are fun. It’s not directly oceanfront but it’s just a quick walk around the corner of the building to see the ocean :) It was well equipped and we enjoyed it.

Best friends get together for the week. Really comfortable and great location. Pool/beach and amenities were super close. The whole complex was clean and easy to navigate. Having the Deck restaurant right here was not only convenient but delicious. A total "do over".

The condo was awesome. Once we found it. The directions did not tell us it was above the parking area. The weather was perfect. Pirate fest was a blast.

Short family getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at this unit and would gladly come again. The beach access is excellent as well as the multiple pools on the property. The room was spacious and as described, but more attention to detail in cleaning would be appreciated. We made use of both the trundle bed in the bunk room and the pull out couch and both had items from previous visitors in them, which likely indicates that they aren’t cleaned each time. Overall we were very happy with our stay and will keep it in mind the next time we are in the area.

Fan in patio area in need of repair. Dead cockroach in patio area observed upon arrival. Sliding doors need to be adjusted and tracks cleaned. Stove has an electrical issue.

Great beach and pool area with ease of access.

Overall, the unit was spacious and clean. However, both showers were, for lack of a better word, gross. They have not been cleaned properly in some time. Lots of hard water buildup, crusty, black spots (mold?), rust spots, mildew spots, shower pan was blackened and not the cream color of the rest of the shower….you get the idea. That was really the only issue. Well-stocked, easy to check in and out, packet with plenty of instructions. Communications with rentalcompany were easy. The a/c went out the first night we were there and they got it fixed as fast as they could. The on-site restaurant, The Deck, was absolutely amazing. Hot tub was a nice touch. Pool area is nice. Access to beach was easy and there were showers prior to coming back into pool area. The beach is one of the best we’ve been to. Clean, flat, plenty of beach. I would recommend the unit and rental company.

Okay, but not for the price.

The condo was okay. The floors need a better wash and the dishes (esp the silverware) needed to be rewashed as there was food on some. In the bunk bedroom - my 7 yr olds were scared to sleep on the top bunk bc it swayed and moved ALOT. Also, the pillow coverings (green) were stained. Also, the pools were really cloudy and dirty and the night before our departure, the gatecode suddenly changed. Also be beware that the gate keypad for beach access was faulty as well. Overall, it was okay - I wasn't wowed. But there were no bugs or other issues so :)

Lovely, spacious condo with great baby pool

Had a lovely stay here with our family of parents, adult kids and one little caboose. Very nice condo, very clean and comfortable. We arrived after 5 pm for check in and it had not been inspected yet. (COVID has extended procedure times - understandable). We did encounter the inspector as we entered - no big deal - we couldn't really delay entering/arriving with our car full of perishable food and our 1 year old. Later in our stay, we were also informed about scheduled maintenance on the hot tub about 20 minutes before it occurred. We'd have liked a bit more notice as we have a baby who naps. Minor nuisances, and we really liked the keyless entry system, professional management company and no need to visit the office upon checkout. We had one clogged sink upon check-in which was resolved within about 2 business hours of our reporting it. Pool procedures for COVID - pools are open for 2 hours at a time then closed (everyone leaves) for 30 minutes for cleaning. Glad they were open as the baby pool here was one of our main reasons for choosing a unit at this property. Disappointed the gate between pools and beach was closed - also for COVID - understandable. Still, with a little one and gear to lug we would have liked that access. The onsite restaurant is open and requiring masks other than when seated. We had a lovely early dinner there for one of the two meals we did not eat in our condo all week. Parking was much easier than our last stay at this property, also due to COVID. My estimation is that attendance at the property was somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 capacity. We did not encounter others in the elevator more than a couple of times during our week stay, and easily got a table at the pool regardless of arrival time. The kitchen had plenty of equipment for cooking and we did a lot of cooking. We didn't use the crock pot but there is one There are also plenty of pots/pans/place settings/flatware/glasses. We only saw one insect the entire time and it was small - very unusual for Tybee IMO! Perhaps the location on the 3rd floor above the parking garage? Or very good insect control program? Last note; there is no grill and no grilling allowed. We overlooked this - the photos feature an outdoor sink/stove/something on the patio that is no longer there, and we mistook it for a grill. A grill isn't listed in the amenities so that was our mistake. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, old building, but nice apartment.

The apartment itself is nice and spacious. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, and bakeware, but there was no salt or sugar. There was also no shampoo or clothes detergent. We have never stayed at a rental property that did not provide these basic staples. We also host on Homeaway and always provide plenty of basic items to get our guests started. The location is great, right on the beach. Our kids enjoyed the pools. Having a jacuzzi in the patio was wonderful. The building itself is old and unattractive, but the apartment was nice and comfortable.

Best spot for family on Tybee

Easy access to the beach, pools, restaurants, playground and library. It's a great location. The unit was spacious, well furnished, and clean. There were very few little things in the unit that help make the stay easier: salt and pepper, laundry detergent, extra paper towels. The resort as a whole was a little run down and crowded. But overall a great stay.

We stayed over Labor Day weekend. The unit was ready ahead of the 4:00pm check-in. The unit was very clean and spacious and easily accommodated 6 adults and one child. The outdoor space was nice and the walk to the beach was super easy and accessible. The amenities were great as well. I only have a couple of suggestions: 1. Trash cans are needed in each of the bathrooms. 2. It would be great if the shower head in the master bath had variable settings. These are very minor things but would make the stay even better! Thanks for sharing your unit and I highly recommend it!

This unit is very nice and a great location

The only reason for three stars was because there were a couple maintenance issues. 1. We had four children and the TV in the spare bedroom with the bunk beds was important to us. There was a cable box, remotes, no TV. 2. Hot tub was also a feature we were looking for and it was not working. We were told they were trying to get it fixed before we arrived but it was not and no updates all week were provided. Aside from that, this unit is very nice and well kept.
