The Windward apartment is located on the lower level (ground floor) and has 2 bedrooms and 2 connecting bathrooms. It is best for 1 to 4 persons. There is a queen sized bed in one bedroom and two large single beds in the other. Both bedrooms have an air-conditioner (A/C) and walk in closet. No A/C in the living room but there is a fan.

The Windward has a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, air-fryer/toaster oven, coffee makers, cutlery, crockery, washing machine, TV, Wi-Fi, iron and hair dryer. There is a breakfast bar in the kitchen area or you could dine on the terrace and take in the view. Off street parking is available, but many places are walking distance and public transport is also easy to get.

Wonderful and helpful welcome from Tony who oriented us to St. Georges and helped us settle in. Accommodations exactly as promised. A beautiful property with a spectacular view of harbour. Great central location and we were able to get to all things through the bus system. Restaurants and food stores nearby. A truly wonderful stay in Grenada.

Great place to stay in Grenada

The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and is situated in a great central location - above Port Louis, which is between Grand Anse Beach and St. George’s town. The balcony was a fabulous place to hang out in the mornings and evenings after a day at the beach or sightseeing. Lindy and her husband are very nice and helpful.

Fantastic location and hosts!

The location was excellent - only a 15-20 minute walk to downtown St. George's and Grand Anse Beach, and close to the bus route which can get you to both very quickly. There was also a grocery store just down the street that was handy. The apartment was very clean and had absolutely everything you would need for a comfortable and lengthy stay, including a nice patio with a view of the harbour. The AC was definitely needed and appreciated! The hosts were very friendly and very accommodating and helpful in offering guidance and information about Grenada, things to do, and places to see. At no point did we feel unsafe. It was nice and quiet at night. We could sometimes hear local music in the distance over the sound of the tree frogs and crickets. Forget hotels, forget resorts. If you want to experience Grenada to its fullest and immerse yourself in the culture, we recommend staying here! We would not think twice about staying at Casa Calypso again! Perfect, low key hideaway

Great view of the harbor and close enough to stores that you don't need a car. The apartment is comfortable and the stone floors keep things cool. The bed rooms are air conditioned; which insures comfortable, quiet nights. The owners live upstairs. They couldn't be nicer. Tony has a wealth of information for almost anything that might come up; including where to get fresh coconut water. We didn't want to leave.

Elevated with great views, perfect apartment

We loved our stay here. Excellent location with views over the harbour, and can walk to St George and to the marina. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed with a lovely deck that we basically lived on. The owners lived above us, and were so helpful, friendly and caring, and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. It had good car parking, and easy to get out and about every day. Supermarket was a mere 5 minutes walk away. We loved our stay at Casa Calypso and would highly recommend it.

Why they chose this property

Centrally located in a vibrant neighborhood called Belmont which is in the parish of Saint George. The location offers stunning views of the city, Port Louis Marina, Grenada Yacht Club and some landmark views such as Fort George and the Grenada Parliament.

Grocery shopping and local or international style restaurants/bars are within walking distance such as Patrick's Homestyle restaurant or Victory Bar in the Port Louis Marina.

Access to public transport is very easy to get to if you choose not to rent a car. When you walk through the neighborhood the people are friendly and always willing to help.

The property has a simple and straightforward layout. The standout feature is the views, especially at sunset and night time.
