The property was beautiful- private, well maintained grounds. The pictures really don’t do it justice! The inside was clean and well decorated. We loved the fireplace and the view! The location was also great and close to good restaurants. The host was very accommodating and went above and beyond to assist when we had some Wi-Fi struggles. Overall, one of my new favorite places to stay in the area. So cozy!

We had an amazing stay at Timberhaus. The host reached out ahead of time letting us know the chalet was ready earlier than expected. From the moment we walked in we knew we were someplace special. The cozy bedrooms and bathroom are on the 1st floor and the open 2nd floor has an amazing wood burning fireplace and new kitchen. The entire chalet is decorated beautifully. The beds were so comfortable and the linens were thick. You could tell a lot of time and detail went into creating this sanctuary.

My sister-in-law and I went just to get away together for a few days and this place was amazing! She was in AWE of how immaculate and detailed the decor was and how every little detail was carefully thought out down to every ambient light, every cozy pillow, quality bedding and towels and complete pantry with all your needs. Landscaping is impeccable and woodlands are so serene and peaceful! My sister-in-law loved every moose and bear detail throughout the house :) It is a whimsical and cozy home that we thoroughly enjoyed and only wished we could have stayed a bit longer!!

My wife, Bri, and I live in Scituate, MA with our two kids, Keely and Brodie, and our dog, Camp. While we love our coastal town, we’re always looking forward to our next trip to the White Mountains.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the Linderhof neighborhood after buying our first property, Summit Vista, at the top of the hill in 2020. When the opportunity to purchase a beautiful chalet just down the street came up, we jumped on it.

What makes this property unique

Timberhaus may not be the biggest chalet in the White Mountains, but it’s our favorite. Its privacy, craftsmanship, and character are hard to match, and there’s just something about the feel of the home that brings people back year after year.
