Great stay - property was as expected; clean cozy and recently remodeled - excellent location to ski and commute to town. Host was responsive to communication and friendly.
Our family of 5 enjoyed our time at this property. The home was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for all of us to relax. The pool has a playground area that is perfect for kids to hop back and forth. The highlight for my boys was the golf course.
This property was perfect for our family! We always prefer to rent a space versus getting a hotel room when traveling with our kids. The place was very clean, had every amenity we could have needed and the hosts were very communicative before check in and before checking out. The location was perfect for what we were landing to do on our trip. Would recommend this listing to anyone visiting this area with a small family
Positives•Clean, pleasant, and good location. It had everything we needed for 5 people.•Internet access was included in the rate.•Plenty for our grandsons to do – they loved the castle, pirate ship, and books (particularly the “underwear” book)!•Plenty of towels.•The “Arrival Information” was very helpful.•Although the “Arrival Information” indicated that the new microwave might be a problem, it worked well for us.Some Suggestions•In the 2nd bedroom (with bunk beds), it would be helpful to have a lamp/light activated by the wall switch next to the door.•The wall thermostat for the large electric heater in the living room didn’t seem to work. We could turn it on (the heater fan ran), but there was no way to set the temperature – the display was blank, making it difficult to figure things out.•No batteries in the remote for the electric fireplace. So, we temporarily borrowed two from the TV remote.•Wall clock needs a new battery.•Loose drawer face on top drawer in the kitchen – I think it is simply missing a screw on the right side.•Oven seems to have issues. Although we set the temperature to 425 degrees, it wouldn’t get above 355, and it sometimes didn’t even get that high.•Could use some instructions on how to lock the front door. Until the 2nd day, we didn’t realize we needed to turn the knob on the inside of the door, in order to lock it.•The bathroom exhaust fan doesn’t seem to be working quite right. it runs but doesn't exhaust/pull the air.
Brian was an amazing host and the property was great especially with storyland right across the street. We also really enjoyed the little par three nine hole course on the property. We definitely will be staying here again in the future!
