THE SPACE: This unit is perfect for those seeking a quiet, private space to relax and work remotely, or settle in for an extended stay. It is on the lower level of an over/under duplex on a hillside. You’ll have your own exterior entrance. The only shared space is outdoors when I am tending the yard. I put a lot of energy and care into creating a beautiful green space to enjoy from Spring through Fall. From inside the unit, you can enjoy a stunning view of the Flatirons & the Rocky Mountains at sunset, with the mountains capped in snow in Winter. TO ACCESS the unit, you’ll walk down a gentle concrete pathway with 22 steps. Once you’ve reached the RED door, you’ll find a warm, open, spacious, inviting living area, 1 bedroom, a bathroom, and a utility closet equipped with cleaning supplies, a full-size washer and dryer, including laundry detergent. THE KITCHEN has everything you’ll need to cook and dine. Cookware includes a Calphalon tri-ply stainless steel pan for even heating and a T-fal Ceramic Non-Stick Fry Pan, perfect for cooking eggs. (Olive oil and some spices are included.) A Cuisinart single-serve - pod coffee and tea maker. Accompaniments included. THE BEDROOM has a lovely King Bed with a “medium -firm” mattress, fully protected from dust, allergens, and bugs. All linens are made from 100% long-staple Egyptian cotton and are climate pledge-friendly. The Duvet is made from 100% waterfowl feathers and maintains a consistent temperature in all seasons. There are two pillow choices: the Indulgence Gusset Side Sleeper Down Pillow and the Tempur-Pedic Cooling Memory Foam, both designed for absolute comfort. Micro plush heated blankets and plush throw blankets are available to keep you warm and cozy throughout your stay. ALL BATHROOM towels and bathrobes are 100% cotton. Essentials include shampoo, conditioner, body wash for men and women, hand soap, and facial amenities. THE UNIT has its own central fan, which is Turned ON; the whole unit should cool quite well. The space stays naturally cool and comfortable throughout the summer —something we’ve enjoyed for years. FOLDING CHAIRS are available for outdoor use. Watch the sunsets from the front porch. Nature has its way, and the backyard is full of vegetation. The songs of wild birds, crickets chirping, are the Music Of The Day and Night! RTD/LIGHT RAIL/PARK-RIDE: => 0.8 miles to the nearby station at 1311 Oak Street, Lakewood, CO 80215 (best routes to Denver Union Downtown Station/ Denver Broncos Stadium/The Denver Nuggets Arena/The Denver Avalanche/Auraria Parkway/Denver Metropolitan Schools) RESTAURANTS & GROCERY STORES: => 5-minute walk to Moose Hill Cantina Mexican Restaurant (Serves Lunch & Dinner) => 8-minute walk to Ranch at 40 Restaurant ( Serves Breakfast & Lunch) => 6-minute drive to Whole Foods. => 3-minute drive to King Soopers. HOSPITALS NEARBY: => 2.9 miles to Intermountain Health-Lutheran Hospital. => 2.3 miles to Saint Anthony -Common Spirit Hospital. The place was cozy and the mountain view was great! Not too far of a drive from here to Denver, Golden, Red Rocks or any of the hiking spots nearby. Haydee was very kind and accommodating as a host!

Fabulous place with a stunning view of the mountains and a creek in the backyard! Haydee was delightful and fun to chat with while she was gardening around the beautiful property. Haydee's place is great for a couple looking to explore the Denver area. It was convenient to Downtown, Colorado Springs, Boulder and the mountains, all of which we visited. The walkout basement apartment has a great view of the mountains and is equipped with everything you need for your stay. It was also large enough to entertain our two daughters, who live in the area, for dinners. The house is on a quiet street and parking was no problem. Haydee was readily available if we had any questions. We would definitely stay again when we are in the area.

I wish we could leave more than 5 stars! We have found our Colorado home-away-from-home. With great communication before our arrival to every detail being just as described on the listing, cleanliness, mountain views, coffee with Cujo (not guaranteed for all visitors) and amenities that exceeded our expectations, Haydee has done an AMAZING job creating a perfect little hideaway for Colorado visits. (The bed is SO comfortable and we are really picky out our bed/pillows when traveling) No question, we will be staying here again! Thank you Haydee, Cujo and Tom…it was a magical week! Just to note…Haydee has worked very hard to make your stay seamless. There are camping chairs, a cooler and ice packs in the freezer, reusable bags for shopping, bathroom amenities incase you forget something, PLENTY of hangers, lamps next to the bed with usb ports, a sound machine in the bedroom and SO many other details…you’ll feel right at home!

Highly recommend this lovely property. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of seating for guests. The Hosts were very responsive to all correspondence and communication was excellent. Provided additional check out instructions prior to our leave. The view is pretty and there were squirrels and ducks to watch. We hope to stay again.

This is a great unit for either Single or couple to stay at. The unit itself has all the accommodations of a hotel, plus a complete kitchen with whatever cookware; plates etc. you need to cook. The location is perfect and the view is spectacular! There is a major grocery store 5 minutes away; major highway is also just 5 minutes away. Many food options in the area to choose from. I'll definitely book the next time I'm visiting my daughter in Colorado.
