Excellent apartment, about 5 miles from downtown Homer. Beautifully furnished, and very functional. We stayed for 5 nights, and appreciated the cleanliness of the home, as well as thoughtfulness of the hosts, Brad and Chelsey. There was information on the surrounding area, coffee, tea, bottled water and assorted snacks, as well as recommendations for food and activities, and a spectacular view from the living room window to the volcanoes across the water. Would recommend for anyone who doesn’t want to “rough it” while enjoying Homer, Alaska.

Why they chose this property

Perched on Homer's iconic bluff, you'll be immersed in one of Alaska's most spectacular settings. The neighborhood offers a peaceful, elevated retreat where dramatic volcanic peaks frame endless water views across Cook Inlet.

What we love most is the ever-changing natural theater - watching fishing boats dot the inlet during the day, then witnessing sunsets that paint the sky in brilliant colors with Iliamna and Redoubt volcanoes silhouetted in the background.

The bluff community has a relaxed, authentic Alaska feel - friendly neighbors who appreciate the stunning surroundings, but with enough space for privacy and tranquility. You're close enough to downtown Homer (just minutes away) for restaurants and activities, yet elevated above it all with unobstructed panoramic views.

The area attracts visitors who seek Alaska's natural beauty without sacrificing comfort - it's the perfect balance of wilderness wonder and convenient access to Homer's charm.

What makes this property unique

What truly sets us apart is that this isn't just accommodation - it's a front-row seat to Alaska's most spectacular natural show. Many guests tell us the view from our windows matches or beats any expensive tour they've taken.

The location offers the perfect balance: peaceful and elevated enough for those stunning vistas and true relaxation, yet just minutes from Homer's restaurants, galleries, and activities. You get authentic Alaska wilderness scenery without sacrificing modern comfort or convenience.
