Perfect get-away!

This cottage is a perfect get-away for couples. Of the grid, but not so far away from fine dinning, nature, and art. We visited the Penn Tavern and the National Hotel in Pillow for dinner. We also went to the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art, which offers 9 miles of trail hiking and bird watching. After hiking 3.5 miles, a soak in the cottage hot tub was just what the doctor ordered. After dinner, relaxing in the jacuzzi with a bottle of wine, was simply amazing. We totally decompressed from the stresses of life. We will definitely be back!

EXCELLENT PLACE TO GET AWAY!!

We spent a lovely long weekend at The Mahantongo Cottage. This cottage was extremely clean and well maintained and was a perfect fit for the two of us. The kitchen was well equipped & we appreciated the ice they left in the freezer and the k-cups for our morning coffee. The hot tub was so nice and The Jetted Tub in the bedroom was great with all your needed bath items. The Tray was a nice touch they left for us. One suggestion I would have would be to put a railing on the wall going up to the bedroom. It was a perfect getaway for us and I would highly recommend this cottage. Terri & Chris - New Jersey

The cottage was cute and exactly what we imagined for our 2 yr anniversary, however those ideals came crashing down by a horde of ladybugs. My fiance and I had to sleep on the couch due to the amount of ladybugs upstairs. They were even landing on us while laying in the bed. Knowing this was something that couldnt be cleaned up in a few hours, we made the decision to leave the following morning and not stay another night. Luckily we dont live far away. I have contacted the host and sent images of the upstairs, but received no message back. Not looking for a complete refund, but a partial would be appreciated. Hoping this issue is an easy fix for them. The downstairs floor should also be insulated it was freezing cold upon arrival and took awhile to warm. The minisplit may also need some attention since it sounded like an airplane. Had it not been for the bugs, it wouldve been the perfect couple get away.

Cozy and beautiful

We absolutely loved our stay here! It's a quiet semi secluded place with an amazing supply of accommodations, it was very clean and cozy! The only negative thing is the bathroom is on the first floor and the bedroom on the second but it's still a beautiful place and we would definitely stay here again!

Couples Cottage

Biking and entering property was unbelievably easy. We were fortunate enough to not need the owner for any issues. This cottage was precisely what we needed a s a couple. It was more than relaxing, it was energizing.

A great romantic getaway

The house was the perfect thing for us to unwind and relax. There was something wrong with the jets in the jacuzzi and some flakes started coming out, but other then that everything was perfect. Thank you so much for letting us stay

Loved the property! Pros: 1. Lovely area 2. Very welcoming feeling upon arrival 3. Nice touch of sparkling juice and treats near indoor soaking tub in bedroom 4. Hot tub outside 5.
