About this property

The Cottage on Clarks Creek welcomes you. Jyoti and Michael’s newly built, secluded abode is nestled in the woods just steps away from an immaculate watershed creek. The lodge consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath with not only a shower but separate jacuzzi tub, plus another ½ bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances.

On the property, for your use, is a creekside, fully screened in, (not kid friendly) meditation room that is suspended right above the flowing water. The perfect spot to relax, have a meal or morning coffee. Mountain water flows through the creek making it pristine for fishing, rock stacking or floating. The Appalachian trail and Fly Fishing areas are around 1 mile from the property.

Between your getaway and the creek lives two fireplaces, one large stone fireplace with built-in seating, and the other is a smaller creekside fireplace.

Jyoti and Michael created a quiet, zen space intended for a romantic and relaxing getaway, we live next to the cottage. We will respect your privacy. If you are looking to party this is not the place for you.

Beautiful, relaxing stay

Book this place! It's even more beautiful in person. This was the perfect home for a relaxing weekend getaway. Michael and Jyoti were gracious, communicative hosts, who provided lots of thoughtful details and recommendations. The house is modern and stylish, while still cozy and welcoming. Beautiful area, close to some fun hikes, cool shops, and great restaurants.

An oasis of calm

The Cottage on Clark’s Creek was the best weekend getaway we’ve done! Michael and Jyoti are impeccable hosts and their property just oozes calmness and tranquility. Me and my partner were looking to have a weekend stress free and away from the city and that was just what we had. Could not recommend this property enough, we are hoping to coming back soon!

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend staying at this property! We were so appreciative of the obvious care and thought Michael and Jyoti put into all of the spaces, but most especially the meditation room on the creek. We definitely intend to return!

Great place, great location

The cottage provided a pleasant stay at an ideal location for a weekend of Appalachian Trail day hikes. Clark's Valley is scenic. Even the drive up Clark's Valley Road was enjoyable. The cottage was attractive, clean, and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the tea house and the setting on Clark Creek. It was better than described in the property listing. The weather was fair and we relaxed there with morning coffee, afternoon wine, and evening pizza and beer. Stone steps and paths led to the creek. I fished there briefly and caught trout. Beyond the creek was undisturbed forest.The AT was minutes away and offered scenic hikes west to the Susquehanna and east into St. Anthony's Wilderness. All in all a great weekend.

Jyoti Is from India and cooks delicious Indian meals, or Mediterranean, although we are vegetarian and Pescatarian (fish eater) so we do not cook meat.
