Cottage on Clarks Creek

The Cottage on Clarks Creek welcomes you. Jyoti and Michael’s newly built, secluded abode is nestled in the woods just steps away from an immaculate watershed creek. The lodge consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath with not only a shower but separate jacuzzi tub, plus another ½ bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances.

On the property, for your use, is a creekside, fully screened in, (not kid friendly) meditation room that is suspended right above the flowing water. The perfect spot to relax, have a meal or morning coffee. Mountain water flows through the creek making it pristine for fishing, rock stacking or floating. The Appalachian trail and Fly Fishing areas are around 1 mile from the property.

Between your getaway and the creek lives two fireplaces, one large stone fireplace with built-in seating, and the other is a smaller creekside fireplace.

Jyoti and Michael created a quiet, zen space intended for a romantic and relaxing getaway, we live next to the cottage. We will respect your privacy. If you are looking to party this is not the place for you.

Hershey Park is 28 miles and 35 minutes drive from the cottage..

This property is an absolutely serene oasis! I loved spending time in the hand crafted meditation room, we even camped out there one night with the sound of a beautiful creek running by. Amazing! Only 30min from Hershey and so many other tourist locations in PA.The hosts go above and beyond the booking! They even provide a 5 page document sharing many local must do's including dining options, family activities and even some great hiking spots! We will visit again in the future.

This is an amazing retreat just far enough from Harrisburg and Hershey to be peaceful and relaxing but with lots of fun activities within reach. Michael was a gracious and very responsive host, the home was spotless, and everything was well explained. Beautiful art, comfy beds, and fresh flowers made it just perfect. I would happily stay again!

Peaceful Getaway

The Cottage on Clarks Creek is an amazing place to stay. If you love the quietness of the country and listening to Peeper frogs at night, this is the place for you! Michael was a great host. He takes care of the cottage and the grounds around it to make it a beautiful and peaceful getaway.

An amazing and calming experience

This was a beautiful property with an incredible serene surrounding. We were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the beds were and my teen and his friends had a wonderful time playing hide and go seek around the house and into the woods. We loved sitting in the meditation hut and spent an entire thunderstorm there. We would definitely love to return!

Memorial Day weekend

Property was absolutely beautiful. We loved the meditation area and listening to the stream in the background. The house was a very clean and comfortable place to stay in. The owners were very welcoming and informative of the surrounding area!

Beautiful, relaxing stay

Book this place! It's even more beautiful in person. This was the perfect home for a relaxing weekend getaway. Michael and Jyoti were gracious, communicative hosts, who provided lots of thoughtful details and recommendations. The house is modern and stylish, while still cozy and welcoming. Beautiful area, close to some fun hikes, cool shops, and great restaurants.

My family needed a 2-bedroom place to stay while helping my mother in Halifax with a project. This property was clean, convenient (compared with staying in Harrisburg) and just what we needed. The setting was so lovely, private and peaceful. Michael was friendly and helpful and not intrusive.

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful, if too short, stay at Michael and Jyoti's cottage. The place was spotless with so many little touches that made us feel welcome and at home, and the property itself is gorgeous - such a perfect location backing up to the creek, with a number of comfortable places to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. We hope to be back!

Wonderful property

Perfect location, very quiet area right next to a stream. Property was well maintained inside and out. Host made us feel welcome and shared some of what they’d grilled for dinner. We were on a DIY fishing trip. Plenty of room for parking and gear/boat prep. Fished the stream one evening. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful place!

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Michael and Jyoti’s rental. Michael was very responsive to any questions we had. He was out of town during our stay, so we interacted mostly with Jyoti and she is a gem!! So sweet and kind, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It poured the whole time we were there, but the cottage is so cozy and the meditation room so relaxing that we didn’t mind at all. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, this is the spot!

Wonderful property

The cottage has a great layout with a roomy kitchen, baths and bedrooms. Beds are comfortable and linens are soft and cozy. Lots of storage space. We really enjoyed the location - we went fishing, bike riding and hiking. The property is spacious so you can walk around and also enjoy a few different seating areas. The creekside meditation room is totally cool! Much bigger than I expected with a surprise inside! Great for happy hour or morning workouts and reading time during the day. The owners have thought of many personal touches that enhance the cottage and the property. We opted in for a home cooked meal and were not disappointed! We hope to be able to return again.

Relaxing weekend stay

Sometimes you see pictures and then in real life the pictures do not live up to your expectations....well this is NOT the case. This property surpasses the pictures and expectations. We came to the area for a graduation party and we wished we had more time to enjoy the property. Extremely clean, comfortable beds, lovely rooms etc. They had everything you need for morning coffee and tea. The pizza place delivers to the property and the ice cream place down the road is amazing. Great wifi even though this is the perfect place to unplug and read a book. I didn't scroll or watch Netflix. We would love to come to this same property again as we have friends in the area.

Perfectly designed getaway with style. They’ve thought of everything, including very nice outdoor areas. We were close to nature but easily got to Harrisburg and Hershey. They are very friendly and eager to make guests at home…including giving us space. We both loved it!
