This is Cardinal Cabin. Located three miles from Beautiful downtown Wimberley, two miles to The Blue Hole Park. One mile from Jacobs Well, and four miles to the Wimberley Zip line. Relax on the deck, over looking the scenic Wimberley Valley, and enjoy the many deer that come to visit us each day. Your fur babies are welcome here as well. Cardinal features beautiful views, a king sized bed, WI Fi, and Satellite TV.

Comfortable, Clean and Cozy

Very clean and cozy small house with everything we needed. Close to the town of Wimberley and shopping. The hosts, Curtis and Peggy were very helpful and hospitable. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Cardinal Cabin at North Eagles Nest

We had an excellent stay at this one-bedroom furnished cabin near Wimberley. It has a very accommodating owner who even took down a board off the small porch to accommodate our 12-year-old German Shepherd who can no longer negotiate stairs. The cabin is cozy and well-outfitted with nice furniture and a comfortable bedroom. The bath is functional but small and the kitchen area. Curtis (owner) is very attentive and keeps the various hummingbird and other bird feeders full during your stay so that you can enjoy the birds and other wildlife. Like many areas in the Hill Country, white-tail deer are plentiful and there were quite a few well antlered bucks that frequented the area every evening and morning looking for handouts. Would definitely come back.

Hill Country Haven

Can’t say enough positive things to cover our stay in Curtis & Peggy’s Cardinal cabin. They are SUPER hosts, they have thought of everything you could need in this peaceful and very comfortable cabin. Great wildlife, great setting and friendly people. In addition to all the normal things you might expect they had fresh flowers in living area and bedroom and they are so attentive and responsive. Curtis even brought his puppy over to teach our puppy how to play and socialize with other dogs. We could not have asked for more and hope to return in the fall.

Perfect getaway

We were attending a Sunday wedding in Dripping Springs. We also did Wimberley and outlet mall at San Marcos. Cabin is comfortable and cute! It was so nice having waters, ice, shampoo, and essentials. Curtis was a great host. He greeted us with his friendly pups. Bed is super comfortable. We enjoyed the porch and bird watching. Would visit again.
