Wondering where the name “Milk Bath Springs” comes from? This house is downstream from the original “dripping springs” (which the town is named after) and it flows into our very own historic “Milk Springs” where nearby settlers, in the 1800 and early 1900s would put their dairy items in the ice cold spring to keep them fresh. This spring box is located in a beautiful grotto located at the back of our property. You can see into the grotto from the yard!

Thinking about renting Milk Bath Springs House as well? A side patio features a pergola that sits over an outdoor dining area, where you can enjoy a meal in the wonderful Hill Country weather! Covered patio areas wrap around the sides of the house for guests to sip coffee and take in this beautiful property at Milk Bath Springs!

Cute little place
We stayed with our 2 dogs and the location worked perfectly for wedding venue touring. Love the fenced yard and extra room in sideyard for playing. Cottage is quaint, cute, and quiet. Keurig with k cups and toiletries were provided.

Came down to DS for wedding. Home is adorable and perfect location to all of our events. No issues. Only complaint is place could use a deep cleaning. Floors and sofa are filthy!!

Easter weekend getaway
Our stay in the beautiful hill country was relaxing and enjoyable. The property was just as described, and in a beautiful, quiet setting. We brought along our corgi puppy and the fenced in backyard was ideal! The great location was perfect for what we had planned in dripping springs. We would stay here again!

Dripping Springs Cottage
Delightful location! Very convenient to downtown Dripping Springs, but still felt a little isolated. The Cottage was the perfect size for just me and my dogs and was teeming with character. The fenced back yard was convenient, especially with the rain. The only negatives at all were the windows mentioned in previous posts that weren’t covered, and a lot of dust and debris under the beds & sofa. The window to the front door allowed anyone staying at the main house to look straight in to the living room. There were guests at the main house the 2nd night, so I had to cover it with a towel. I would love to return sometime when it’s not raining!
