About this property
Serendipity Farmhouse - Rustic Charm with Swimming Pool Access
Looking for a charming getaway? The Serendipity Farmhouse will have visitors feeling as if by chance they have happened upon something uniquely wonderful. This darling Farmhouse originally built in 1901, located in Wimberley, sits on 120 acres of beautiful hill country. Guests will find this renovated farmhouse offers an upscale feel with all the conveniences of a newly built home. The farmhouse was originally constructed in New Braunfels and moved to the ranch in 3 separate pieces. Over a two year time period the owners restored the house to what now is the Serendipity Farmhouse. Guests to the Ranch will be delighted with the flawless restoration in keeping the beauty and feel of the original farmhouse. Fun and Adventure awaits those who visit the Serendipity Farmhouse. Enjoy a refreshing in-ground pool (shared with the owners), visit and pet the friendly farm animals that include, mini ponies, Nubian dairy goats, Dorper sheep, farm chickens, Bourbon Red Turkeys, and Guinea hens, as well as the farmhouse's resident cat, Fuzzer who is happy to show guests around. *For those traveling with their horses, private paddocks with shelter or stalls are available for guests for an additional nightly fee.
Upon entering, guests will admire the special beauty of the original home with its high ceilings, beadboard and shiplap walls, and longleaf pine floors, all restored from the original home built in 1901. Relax in a warm and inviting sitting room with a smart T.V. for streaming and interesting accent pieces of leather and linen. Cooks will enjoy preparing meals in this open and spacious kitchen with beautiful tile floors, barn doors, a farm sink, large island with seating and plenty of counter space to appreciate family meals together. With a sitting porch located on the front and another just outside the kitchen, guests may choose to dine in or outside while enjoying the beautiful landscape. *An added bonus: Guests also have access to the laundry area located just off the kitchen. Masterfully decorated, each bedroom offers a warm and inviting retreat that guests are sure to sleep soundly. Decorated with a wonderful mix of old and new pieces, the master bedroom hosts a king bed with lovely linens, and delightful accent pieces with colorful pops of soft green. Relax in a luxurious master bath with breathtaking tile work, an extensive walk in shower, and a unique vanity. The second bedroom offers a full size bed, as well as a twin daybed each with charming linens in soft inviting colors. Relax in a bubble bath with picturesque views, in the lavish second bathroom hosting the original 1901 extra long clawfoot bathtub. Guests will appreciate the fun patchwork tile and vanity with plenty of counter space and accents of stained glass in this charming bathroom.
With so many adventures to be found, guests will never find themselves wondering what to do. Spend time with family swimming at the shared Ranch Pool located just a short walk across the field from the farm house.
