Although we could not use fire place, fire pitt, nor canoes because of drought and burn ban we still loved our time there. Only problem ,which was handled swiftly was when water shut off while I was washing my hair.

Great house and location. It would have been better if there was water in the river and if we could have used the firepit.

Perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The house was large and accommodating for our party of 6. We loved sitting in the screened porch and outdoors, on the patio overlooking the water.

There's no water in the creek!!! The creek has been dry for months, yet the management company said that I could fish there when I messaged them prior to booking this stay...yet there's no water. We wouldn't have booked this place or paid nearly as much if there would've been an honest answer. I messaged the management company again, prior to posting this review. It went unanswered.Other than that, the place is nice and accommodations are as promised.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the home nice and the accommodations as promised. We’re truly sorry for the confusion regarding the creek—water levels can change with weather conditions, but we understand how disappointing that would be, especially after being told fishing would be possible. We also apologize that your message wasn’t responded to prior to your review, and we’ll be addressing that with our team to ensure better communication moving forward.
Great little cabin with a wonderful water view! Screened in patio was nice to sit while it was raining. Very convenient to Wimberley. Will be back to visit again.

Great location, great house. However, the picture does not represent the current situation. There is no water at the riverhaus. The primary factor for us renting this house was the access to the river. The riverbed is dry. It is important for others to be aware of this factor. If the river is not an important factor then it's a cute place to stay.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the house and its location, but we completely understand your disappointment regarding the dry riverbed. You're absolutely right, river access is a key reason many guests choose this property, and we regret that the listing didn’t reflect the current conditions more clearly. We’ll be updating the description and photos to ensure future guests have an accurate understanding of what to expect. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to welcome you back in the future under better conditions.
Loved it. The watwr level was almost empty. So no swimming or kaying. But it was cute

Thank you for your kind words — we’re so glad you loved the place and found it cute! We’re sorry to hear that the water level was too low for swimming or kayaking during your visit. Unfortunately, that can vary depending on the season and weather, but we understand how disappointing that can be. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll consider coming back when conditions are better so you can fully enjoy all the amenities. Thanks again for staying with us!
This house and property were so beautiful, the house is spacious enough to spread out and the outside spaces along with the screened in porch were great! We really enjoyed hanging out, the hammock and 2 swings were a bonus. We’d definitely stay here again.
