The highway noise was loud. We wish the check in time was sooner ( with all rental companies). Cabin was great, cozy and comfortable.

The cabin was beautiful. It was remote enough to be peaceful and quiet, but a quick trip to town for dining and shopping.

We had a great time. The house is nice with a great view. This sounds picky, but the fitted sheet would not stay on the bed no matter how hard we tried. We would stay here again.

So glad you had a great time and enjoyed the view! Sorry about the rebellious fitted sheet—it clearly had a mind of its own. We'll try to tame it before your next visit! Hope to see you again soon!
Clean, good location (hard to locate due to road construction ) easy access, comfortable accommodations, quiet and safe as it’s gated. Very nice, rustic chic decor.
We had a great time, location was amazing and cabin was beautiful. We were hoping the water was as in the picture so we could swim since it’s so hot out.. but that wasn’t the case. Overall, great experience!

Thank you for the kind words! We're thrilled to hear you had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful cabin and amazing location. We're sorry to hear the water conditions didn’t match the photos—this Texas drought has been tough. Your feedback is appreciated. We’d love to host you again!
Need more gate location detail..FM address alone not sufficient. Had we arrived in the dark I would not have located the gate located some 50 yards or so to the left of the street address..You need to include info that the gate is on the gravel road to the left of the mail box and pavement exit.

Thank you for your valuable feedback regarding the gate location. We understand how challenging it can be to find, especially after dark. We’ll be updating our directions to clearly specify that the gate is located on the gravel road about 50 yards to the left of the street address, near the mailbox and pavement exit. Your input helps us improve the experience for future guests, and we truly appreciate it. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
This cozy and relaxing home is perfect for a weekend getaway. There were lots of fireflies at night out off the back porch!
