What a super cute, tiny cabin! We only used it to shower & sleep in because we were in town for a gun show in Dripping Springs. We arrived Fri. evening fairly late, left Sat. am early, returned Sat. evening, & left again Sun. morning. I would have liked to just hang out there a little, because it's way out in a secluded area, & I bet it's nice to just relax in nature. The cabin could definitely use a better AC. I cannot imagine how it would be to stay there in the summer (we were there in mid-April). Also, the hot water heater needs adjustment. I took luke-warm showers, which is fine with me, but my husband likes a hot shower. We never were able to get actual hot water. In the shower, too, water stands in the bottom. Maybe due to the cabin settling or something, the pvc pipe where the water drains sticks up above floor of the shower. I don't know if it needs to be cut off, or pushed back down under the bottom of the shower. Despite my best efforts to keep the water inside the shower, it leaked around the curtain. It's obvious this has been an issue because the floor planks in the bathroom are stained from water leaking. The bed was comfortable to me, but my husband said it made his back/neck hurt. The stairs going up to the bed are VERY steep. Beware if you have some drinks prior to bed. A quick trip to the bathroom at night could be dangerous! Despite the negatives, I think this cabin has great potential & is very cute!

Not a fan
Counter top was dirty and sticky, the trash had not been taken out from the previous renter, and dishes were dirty yes they had hard water spots but you could see a film on them. A pvc pipe stuck out of the bottom of the shower so you had to make sure not to step on it or the catch drain that was on top that i was worried about possibly cutting my foot on the metal edges. The flooring in the bathroom was really warped. The water pressure out of the sink faucets was great, the shower not at all - barely had a few streams of water so rinsing took forever. The ac worked great if you only stayed down stairs, the air did not circulate very well upstairs so it was super hot all night. But the worst part was how the lights would randomly turn on in the middle of the night. You would be asleep then suddenly the sitting room light would come on, the next time would be the bathroom light. This happened all through the night needless to say hardly any sleep was had. The communication from the property manager gave strick instructions on clean up and to take out the trash, but they failed to say where the outside receptacles were. We ended up just loading the trash in our own vehicle and thankfully at the end of the road there was a trash can, knowing this ahead of time would be good. When we arrived there was a random blanket on the porch floor, and the electrical box was open with wires sticking out with a birds nest inside.

Could have been great
The orange tiny house is quaint, and the price was great. The stairs to the loft bedroom were steeper than I imagined. I had to go down carefully in the mornings when my legs were still sleepy. Each step is about twice the height of a normal staircase. The main issue we had was that the hot water was out. We got there on a Friday night, and Saturday morning, when we wanted to shower, there was no hot water. We called the emergency line, and they were friendly, but seemed a little helpless. They couldn't get someone to look at it in time for us to shower that morning. They sent someone by mid-day while we were out and told us it was fixed. I believe them, but that night when we got back, we again had no hot water. We called the emergency line, and they told us to go outside and look around for circuit breaker boxes (in the dark) and if that wasn't the issue, they didn't know what to do until morning. I used my phone flashlight and found a number of circuit boxes, but the all looked okay. (They probably need someone on call for overnight emergencies.) I called back, and the person on the phone helped me get into another unit that was unoccupied to take a hot shower. April was very helpful. However, that meant we had to walk across the campground in the middle of the night in the dark to get to the shower. Also, there was no water pressure: just a trickle. It was not a very satisfying shower. I understand that issues come up. I think the management company should have a way to respond better more quickly and have someone who can check on things after hours instead of asking the renter to wander around in the dark outside looking for breaker boxes.

Tiny but Covered All My Needs
Very cute tiny house. Perfect for a quick getaway to Hill Country for one person. Could be crowed with two adults. The bed is very comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch and taking in the natural surroundings.

Great Stay
Previous reviews mention ants in the kitchen, I did not see any during our stay, but it is out in the country so I'm sure its possible to see some. The place was clean and great. The other rentals are closely nearby but we didn't ever hear them.
