In 2003, we were fortunate to find this dream come true. With three bedrooms, three full baths, and three thoughtfully designed levels, it became the setting for our family’s Florida summers — the kind that quietly shape a lifetime.
Time moved differently here. Mornings began with coffee overlooking the water. Evenings ended with long conversations as the sky softened into gold and coral. From the balcony, we often watched sunset weddings unfold along the shoreline — a reminder that this stretch of coast has a way of marking life’s most meaningful moments.
The years have carried our family into new seasons, new cities, and new traditions.
Opening our doors as a vacation rental feels less like a business decision and more like passing something meaningful along. This house gave us a lifetime of memories. Now, it’s ready to be the backdrop for yours.

Why they chose this property
There is something quietly magical about this stretch of Florida’s Gulf Coast. Every season is amazing but summer is perhaps my favorite. Summer brings warm water, gentle coastal breezes, and fewer crowds — making it ideal for a peaceful family beach getaway. Afternoon rain showers cool the air, leaving behind luminous skies and dramatic cloudscapes rolling over the water.
For our family, mornings were for shelling and searching for sharks’ teeth along wide, uncrowded beaches. Dolphins surfaced so often they felt like part of the scenery. Manatees drifted by. Manta rays traced the shoreline. With convenient reserved dock access nearby, boating and jet ski days came easily, and this area remains one of the most sought-after sport fishing destinations in Florida.
Evenings were our ritual. From the ocean-view lanai, we watched the sun melt into the horizon — one of the rare east coast locations where true waterfront sunsets paint the sky. We would embark on a leisurely stroll for dinner at a one of the amazing restaurants. The evening would conclude with a walk beneath dark, star-filled skies untouched by high-rise glare. In late summer, sea turtles hatch and make their brave journey to the sea, and in August, the Perseid meteor shower streaks brilliantly overhead.
It is a scene that feels both cinematic and deeply personal.
