Beautiful gite in a beautiful area

Gita Alba was beautiful and comfortable, everything was avaliable for a weeks stay. Bed was very comfortable, it was also cool inside the gite. The pool area was peaceful and the pool was very welcoming after a long day motorcycling round the Ardeche..We were greeted by Stewart and Chevin upon arrival, who were very accomodating and invited us out for a drink during the village fete.Thank you Stewart and Chevin for a lovely stay.

Gute Unterkunft in der Ardeche-Gegend

Schöne kleine Unterkunft mit sehr netten (englischsprachigen) Vermietern. Saint-Étienne-de-Boulogne ist ein kleines Dorf, gut 15 Minuten von Aubenas - der nächsten Stadt mit einem Supermarkt - entfernt. Es gibt zwar kein Fernsehen, dafür aber Netflix, was eigentlich noch besser als TV ist. Der Pool ist super! Aufgrund des sehr trockenen Sommers 2022 und eines Wasserleitungsproblems im Ort gab es nicht immer Wasser. Das lag aber nicht in der Verantwortung der Vermieter.

Super location de vacances

Nous avons énormément apprécié la propreté, le calme, le cadre magnifique de cette location. Mr et Mme GRANT sont des hôtes très agréables, gentils, disponibles et chaleureux. Nous avont beaucoup apprécié une soirée passée avec eux pour l'anniversaire de notre filles. (encore merci pour votre attention envers elle) Location idéale pour famille avec enfants en bas âge, la lettre de notre fille de 8ans pour eux, en est la preuve. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !

excellent séjour

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Saint Étienne de Boulogne dans ce gîte. Nous avons très bien été accueillis par Mr et Mme Grant. Le logement était très bien aménagé et parfait pour une famille avec 2 enfants. La terrasse laisse une vue magnifique sur les montagnes d’Ardèche avec une exposition ouest pour le coucher de soleil. Le calme est aussi très appréciable ! Encore un grand merci à nos hôtes ! Mr et Mme RAMI

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful week at this place which is very nicely renovated, well equipped and has a great terasse. The kids loved the pool and the garden, playing ping-pong etc. Chivon and Stewart are especially welcoming and helpful hosts.

Rustige en ongedwongen omgeving

Heel vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw, compacte woning maar alles wat je nodig hebt als uitvalbasis om de streek te verkennen. Na een uitstap heerlijk om dan even af te koelen in het zwembad of even rustig te genieten.

Nous avons passés d'excellentes vacances dans ce joli gîte bien équipé et ou rien ne manque. Les propriétaires accueillants, serviables, savent rester discrets et sont respectueux de votre intimité tout en restant disponible en cas de besoin. We loved it!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare, erholsame Zeit inmitten einer wunderschönen Umgebung. Dank den Vermietern Stewart und Chevin fühlten wir uns mit unseren Kindern herzlichst aufgenommen und bei Fragen jederzeit gut beraten. Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man abseits des großen Tourismus Urlaub machen möchte! Und: Wir alle vermissen Haggis. Danke für die tolle Zeit!

Vacances au calme

Nous venons de séjourner 15 jours au gîte Alba. L'accueil y est chaleureux et agréable, les propriétaires sont aux petits-soins et répondent avec plaisir à nos demandes. La présence de la piscine est un vrai plus lorsque les températures montent dans la vallée ou après une belle randonnée. Le gîte est au calme, neuf et propre, nous y étions bien malgré les grosses chaleurs..
