Bundaleer Cottage (little house amongst the trees) Ngadjuri meaning

Established in 2018, situated amongst the gum trees in the McLaren Vale Wine Region Bundaleer Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. The cottage has two large comfortable bedrooms each with their own stunning bathrooms and television, The main King room has a double spa bath, and french doors leading on to the Alfresco. The open living area is spacious which includes, full kitchen facilities, a wood heater, dining area and TV lounge area. The Alfresco area includes a BBQ and open air dinning. At Bundaleer you can relax and enjoy our local region.
Wake to the song of kookaburras, rosellas, magpies and many native birds.
Close to Wineries, Award Winning Restaurants, Walking Trails, Native Reserves, and the Onkaparinga River National Park. A 14 minute drive to the Beach, a 10 minute drive to the famous Willunga Produce Market in the Historic Willunga Township and many more local attractions.

Note: When booking for two people and you need both bedrooms, a service fee of $60 applies for the second room.

Favourite Holiday Stay (By Far)

This is a perfect property for a short or long stay in a beautiful region. There is so much to do, but best of all the house is always kept spotlessly clean, the facilities are excellent, and there is a secure dog yard.

Weekend in McLaren Vale

We had a great weekend, the cottage is wonderful and so many thoughtful extras included, one of the best places we have stayed in. The combustion heater was excellent for a winter weekend.

Don’t miss the dawn chorus in McClaren Vale!

We recently spent a week in Jane and Mick’s lovely cottage in McClaren Vale. This was by far the best property that we have stayed at during our four weeks traveling in New Zealand and Australia. Jane and Mick couldn’t have been nicer. The location was perfect for wine-tasting etc. Best of all was waking up to the sound of the dawn chorus of magpies and other birds every day!

Best stay for families especially with pets

Perfect every time

We love everything about this pet-friendly accommodation. It has been thoughtfully designed and is beautifully maintained. The location is excellent - a short drive or walk to some fantastic locations. Our little dog is also very happy here.

We had a wonderful weekend - 2 couples eating, drinking and experiencing the region. House is perfect everything you could think of is catered for beach towels, card games, breakfast and lots of very thoughtful touches. Love love love

A gem among the gum trees

Beautiful house in peaceful country location. Everything was perfect for a quiet getaway. Generous breakfast provisions and even biscuits for our dog on arrival. Kookaburras, cockatoos, rosellas, kangaroos and more to watch over a glass of wine on the verandah. Wish we had stayed longer.

Fantastic Weekend

The Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. We were so impressed with the attention to detail. The fridge was stocked with eggs, bacon, milk, orange juice, fruit along with bread and butter. There was a lovely bottle of wine from a lcoal winery which we enjoyed and then visited to buy some more. The cottage is has all you need to a relax and enjoy the wonderful area. We could not recommend it any higher - simply fantastic.

Bundaleer Cottage

A wonderful welcome when we arrived with the fire burning, heating up the cottage. It is beautifully and very tastefully decorated, with some masterfully made pieces of furniture to add to the charm of the home. We appreciated all the tasty extra's like the nuts, cheese and wine, milk, juice, strawberries, bread and eggs. It is exceptionally very well cleaned, which is a rarity in my experience with holiday rentals. And of coarse being able to have our golden retriever with us was a bonus and a lot of thought went into making it comfy for her too, with doggy beds, towels, bowls and even a treat on arrival, Jane and Mick have catered for both human and canines needs and it was very much appreciated. We were very comfortable and highly recommend this gorgeous cottage to anyone wishing to explore the area and still be able to relax in comfort and luxury.

Exceptional

Very beautiful cottage in a semi rural setting close to many wineries. We loved the extra attention to detail and the thoughtful provision of basic foodstuffs so we didnt have to worry about breakfast or coffees.We also loved the kettle bbq and outdoor patio looking onto the vineyard and gum trees with kangaroos hopping about.This would be the best accommodation we have stayed in.

Beautifully presented with everything you could possibly want. Peaceful and relaxing. Wake up to birdsong and watch the kangaroos at dusk. Our second visit and it won't be our last.

Relaxing getaway with your dogs

Perfect Cottage
