Tynan Farm is a cleverly converted dairy accommodation to provide a rural retreat for guests to enjoy a peaceful stay with stunning views overlooking the Kuitpo Forest.

Your accommodation is only a short 15 minute drive to the renowned McLaren Vale/Willunga wine region with stunning restaurants and the well known Willunga Farmers Market.

Tynan Farm has 1 bedroom, the main bedroom has a King size bed and flat screen t/v. It has a living room with a flat screen television/ DVD player, a country style kitchen with modern facilities and original concrete polished flooring plus a unique bathroom with double shower. It is full of character and has an amazing rustic feel.

An excellent hide-away

The property is well described by the published pictures. The proprietor was attentive and provided everything we asked for. We had an excellent stay and would recommend this property to others. My sole disappointment was that the unsealed approach roads left the car covered in dust which seemed to get everywhere into the crevices.

Beautiful location, rustic cottage feel with modern touches!

My fiancé and I spent two nights at Tynan Farm and it was lovely! Rural and rustic (with certain modern amenities) it was such a comfortable and pleasant stay! The property owners were super accommodating- left a cute note for us prior to arrival and even stocked the fridge with food for a beautiful egg and bacon breakfast! Kudos to whoever decorated and designed the layout - it was very well done. If you enjoy the privacy and serenity away from the hustle and bustle of city life, you will thoroughly enjoy this intimate and rustic getaway! It’s also worth noting that though it is rural, it was still very easy to find and to access. P.s., thank you Alice for your prompt communication and lovely note! We had a lovely time! X

Incredible couples getaway!

We will be back! This house was perfect for a couples getaway. We visited two wineries up the road that were walking distance, which made it all the more fun! Our fridge was stocked with breakfast food for the weekend and the fire was on when we arrived. The mattress in the bedroom was very comfortable and the house was stocked with extra blankets if needed. Alice was very accommodating 😊

Lovely accommodation right next to our wedding venue

Alice was a great host, great communication on the lead up to our stay. We got married at Kuitpo hall and this accomodation was right around the corner. My bridesmaids and I got dressed here before the wedding and it’s a lovely spot with a great view. Highly recommend! It was a great spot to stay on our wedding night and the night after to recover with breakfast together. Thank you again, we had a lovely stay.

Breathtaking Location

Tynan Farm is such a beautiful property - not only does it have breathtaking views, the old building is also so lovely, and was a delight to stay in. Everything about our stay was comfortable and relaxing, and the slow burning fireplace ensured we never got cold. Alice was such a wonderful host. She was friendly and helpful, and ensured our stay was memorable. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your amazing property! I hope to come back one day. :)

Quite and comfortable

The host had the fire going by the time we got to our stay as it was very cold. Had breakfast ingredients, milk, eggs , bacon, juice and muffins. Very close to local wineries and markets in Willunga. Overall peaceful and comfortable place to stay.

A lovely property that’s perfectly situated for enjoying hikes in Kuitpo and Kyeema, with a reward at K1 for a platter & wine. We enjoyed relaxing at Tynan Farm in between hikes, lovely touch by Alice having the fire already lit for our arrival 😊

Beautiful country getaway

Tynan farm is beautiful. Amazing views to Kuitpo forest and great for forest walks. Lots of lovely character setting in this converted dairy. All the comforts you could want in a private quiet setting. Alice was in communication with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We absolutely loved our stay.

Perfect start to our marriage

Tynan farm was a scenic location perfectly sized for a couple. Alice was really accommodating to allow us check in earlier as we had to drop off our stuff before our wedding. I really enjoyed our stay here and would return for another weekend get away when we get a chance.

Stylish and stunning

My husband and I stayed at Tynan Farm after our wedding, and we could not have chosen a better place to spend such an important time. Every detail is comfortable and gorgeous - the shower must be seen to be believed! We're already hoping to returning for our 1-year anniversary! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful accommodation, setting and location

Thank you Alice for providing us with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We really liked the accommodation, the rustic building with the comfortable furniture and homely decor. It is close to the forest, the beach and several interesting country towns as well as many wineries. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Rural, rustic and relaxing

Enjoyed the peace and surrounding countryside of this cottage. Everything we needed for our weekend break was provided, including great breakfast ingredients. We were very comfortable in the ample but cosy spaces and rustic style. Will keep note of this place for future visits. Thank you.

Beautiful getaway

This property was gorgeous. It's an old farm building that's been completely refurbished. The farm house is nearby but it's out of sight and we never heard or saw anyone; our stay felt (and was) completely private. The large fireplace combined with rain falling on the tin roof made for perfect, cosy country nights. The bed was comfy and the shower was large and hot. It was a really good location to get to Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and Victor Harbour/Goolwa. And the takeaway pizza from Meadows was really good. Highly recommend staying here.
