Additional amenities include an extensive library of field guides, Satellite TV, washer/dryer, a genuine Alaskan soapstone wood stove (for decoration only as gas heat is provided) a spectacular large private deck off the dining room for relaxing at home, and a private driveway at the end of the road!
End the day with a good night's sleep...2 queen-sized luxury beds, and quality linens are provided in each of the bedrooms. The master bedroom has an attached Juliet balcony and an ensuite private bathroom/shower.
NOTE: ENHANCED CLEANING PROTOCOLS
Since April 2020 our cleaning staff has been using an enhanced cleaning process: we use a 2-step approach in cleaning our vacation rentals. We CLEAN using a detergent and hot water for visibly dirty surfaces, followed by DISINFECTION (using Microban, Lysol spray, Chlorox bleach solution, Ozium).
"High Touch" surfaces - We clean and disinfect high touch surfaces after each stay. These areas include tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, handrails, light switches, TV remotes, wardrobe and cabinet handles, desks, toilets, sinks, bedside tables, kitchen and bathroom surfaces.
"Low Touch" areas (such as floors, walls, blinds) - These are being cleaned using hot water and detergent. We mop from one end of the premises to the other.
"Soft surfaces" (such as carpeted floors, rugs) - We remove visible dirt and clean with appropriate cleaners indicated for use on these surfaces.
Towels, linens, bedding are laundered on the hottest setting - We also use a Lysol Sanitizing Laundry additive to sanitize all linens and towels.
We provide each vacation rental with a supply of hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap, and face masks for use in public places.
We ask that guests remove their shoes at the door

About the host
Hosted by Elizabeth

Hello! I am a retired wildlife professional who enjoys travelling and spending time hiking, bird watching, and fishing on the Kenai Peninsula. I have lived in this area since 1988 and will help answer any questions you may have on things to do and places to visit while here.
Why they chose this property
I purchased this custom home because of the cathedral ceilings, the attention to details, and the home's internal architecture; its very light and bright!!
The home is very close to the Kenai River and downtown Soldotna but feels secluded at the end of a cul-de-sac. Moose walk through the yard and eagles soar overhead!

What makes this property unique
Quietude, seclusion, and only 5 minutes from the Kenai River!!
