About this property
Beautiful Log Cabin in Mountains Near Glacier Park
We came to Montana as kids--My uncle built the log home we lived in with his own hands and tools. I instantly fell in love with the smell of pine, texture of wood, and old world style of living. I told myself that one day I'd build a log home too. Twenty years later, we made it happen. This home was built with our own hands, tools, and desire to create something meaningful for our family and yours. It's the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts.
When you think of Montana, a lot of us are reminded of classic films like Legends of the Fall and A River Runs Through It. Glacier Park, Flathead Lake, and the Polebridge Mercantile all come to mind as well.
Many people who visit Montana may only come once in a lifetime and it's important that you make the most out of the experience.
Our home is the quintessential Montana escape for those visiting for the first time. It's located in the mountains with no visible neighbors but still close enough to town (20 min) if you need to make a quick trip.
During the day, you'll be sitting out on the deck and see many species of wildlife walking through the yard like deer, turkey, and elk. At night while sitting in the hot tub after a full day of exploring, you'll see constellations, the Milky Way galaxy, and sometimes even the Northern Lights because there's zero light pollution.
Furnished with modern amenities and rustic decor, the home tells the story of Montana’s earliest residents; its Native People and the Cowboys who lived in the mountains and plains.
Their legacy will be shown throughout this beautiful log home in photos, books, artifacts, tools, and tack. Each piece was hand crafted and tells a story of a time long ago. The Buffalo robe in the master bedroom, the feathered lance above the doorway, and even the framed photos on the walls remind us of the reverence these people had for the land and the animals.
And if you have young kids don't worry, it won't be reachable for little people ;)
Take a walk around the 3.5 acre property, have a bonfire in the evening, play a board game on the front deck, or just sit in the hot tub and enjoy the sounds of nature.
If you love Montana and the story of the Old West, you'll love our home. This is truly a one of a kind experience.
Upon request, an 1100 sq. ft private gym is available with everything you need to stay on top of your workouts while staying with us.
