About this property

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, this gorgeous 5 bedroom , four bath beauty offers more than 3500 sq. feet of living space. Its three floors and four decks/porches make it the perfect place for family vacations and events.

Best of all, it is one of the closest houses to the Gulf of Mexico! Just a 2 minute walk or golf cart ride puts you on an uncrowded private community beach. To the east the wildlife preserve offers a large expanse of soft white sand where you can enjoy quiet morning walks. Owners provide a large 6 person golf cart (licensed drivers only!) for guests to use inside the community and a wagon you can pull to the beach.

Aquarius also has an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico and the Bon Secour National Wildlife Preserve from its third floor crow's nest - a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee!

Downstairs, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with everything you will need. It is appointed with a dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, and large refrigerator with ice maker. You will also find a full laundry with large washer and full sized dryer and a full guest bath just off of the kitchen.

Twenty foot ceilings in the newly updated and painted living area add to the spacious feel of Aquarius. Just off of the living and dining rooms is a large, comfortable screened porch with lots of outdoor seating.

The king sized master bedroom suite is located downstairs and has a beautiful full sized bath with a garden tub, walk-in shower, double sinks and a separate toilet room.

Upstairs features another king bedroom, a queen bedroom and two additional bedrooms with two full sized (double) beds in each. Every bedroom has its own flat screen TV and DVD players. Each room has generous closet space.

The third level features the crow's nest with its own trundle bed and TV/DVD.

Martinique's private gated community offers full time security. Two swimming pools and clubhouses, tennis courts, and a fitness center are available for guests to use. If golf is on your things to do list you will find excellent courses within a few minutes drive at Kiva Dunes and the Peninsula.

Great peaceful place for a big family beach vacation!

The home was lovely and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our beach vacation. In a safe and lovely neighborhood, great pools, quick walk to the beach, and not in the busy tourist area but still close to everything else. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and hope to visit again!

Aquarius—Perfect House in Martinique

This was our second stay in Aquarius and it was just as good as last year. Plenty of room for our family of 11. Perks—location, well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, great golf cart, extra refrigerator in garage, abundance of beach items (toys, chairs, umbrellas), well stocked kitchen, good Wi-Fi, good grill. One negative—the kitchen refrigerator’s ice maker was not working. However, having bags of ice available for purchase at the main pool was very helpful. Communication with Martha and Michele was always great and always prompt. We have stayed in Martinique 11 times and this is still one of our favorite houses. We hope to return to this house again next year.

Bad resort but awesome house

The stay was awesome but we had issues with the parking. We had 4 cars, 4 car passes and they said we had to park 1 of our cars a few miles up on the main road away from our house plus pay $ 50 extra to park it. That was ridiculous!!!! That was not vrbo or the owner of the house it was the resort. That was an awful way to do someone who had already had reservations for over 6 months. We love the house and beach but not the resort they weren't friendly and didn't even try to listen to us probably never again in that resort!!!!!

Perfect Family Vacay!!

Absolutely beautiful, spacious, and well-appointed home for me, my husband, my mother, my 2 adult children, and 1 friend. You don’t need to bring anything but sunscreen—the house has everything you need, from chairs to pool toys to spices to bath towels. Beautiful resort community and easy to find. I recommend 10/10!

What makes this property unique

One of the best features of Aquarius is it close proximity to the beach. Just a quick walk and you are there! Two new golf carts are provided for guests to use. Jut a quick ride to one of the two pools or to the boardwalk to the Beach!

The house is situated so that it is very private. Upstairs in the 3rd floor crows nest has a fabulous view out over the wildlife preserve to the Gulf Of Mexico. Our favorite part of the day is having coffee on that porch as we watch the sunrise over the Gulf
