The stairs were a little difficult to manage with heavy suitcases for seniors. Enjoyed the patio sitting area.

Pros:The location was great for our needs. We were in town for the Memorial Cup and it was near Prospera Place, food, and shopping. It was great that it was pet friendly. The host also left us some treats which was nice. It is an older place that is nicely decorated and clean. Cons:The futon was an air mattress on the living room floor which wasn't what we were expecting but we made it work. The AC is in the bedroom and it only cooled the bedroom. A fan in the living room would have helped with some circulation. Also, the bathroom fan turned on but made an awful noise so we weren't able to use it. The biggest reason we wouldn't stay here again is probably something out of the hosts control. One of the neighbors was smoking Marijuana and it made our place smell horrible. It hit you as soon as you walked in the apartment and was really bad in the bedroom and bathroom. There is a pretty large homeless population in this area but we didn't feel unsafe. No one bothered us while out and about.
