You could also take your time to window shopping, it may get surprise. The transportation is very convenient, easy to get all Boston attraction, red line subway/ over 10 lines of buses in walking distance. 1 stop to MGH/ HARVARD/ , few stops to famous Boston Public Garden/Quincy Market/ freedom Trail/ BU/BC/ Northeastern / new England aquarium/Fenway Park/Faneuil hall/Boston Tea party ships/Museum /children’s Museum/ you can also enjoy the Boston Duck Tour etc.
