Villa Catarsena with private pool in Tuscany

I was born in Florence 56 years ago, but I grew up in Bibbiena, the small but historical town at 5 km. from the Villa,
My family and I ( my wife, my son 22 y.o.) we live in Florence in the Winter and some other period, but in Spring, Summer and early Autumn my wife and I live we at the Villa in an independent part ( but safeguarding the guests's privacy).

Villa Catarsena in an ideal position for those who want to enjoy unique views and visit cities such as Florence, Siena and Arezzo is located in the heart of Tuscany, on the border of the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests.

Elegant location, ideal for stays (in some periods even short) for relaxation, tasting good food and wine, art, spirituality and nature.

Built in the late 1600s, it was subsequently purchased by Piero Nati, Director of the Giardino dei Semplici in Florence, the third oldest botanical garden in the world, who created the romantic Italian garden.

In the private park of the Villa a wonderful swimming pool is available to guests, which can be heated in the cooler seasons. Equipped with sun loungers, deck chairs, tables and umbrellas.

From the garden, part of the private park, you enter on the ground floor, into a large living-dining room, with a large fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a service bathroom. A comfortable flight of stone stairs leads to the first floor of the villa, here you will find the living room, with the original restored painted walls, satellite television, DVD player, and 5 bedrooms with bathroom and a family room consisting of a double bedroom, one double and 1 bathroom.

In some rooms, beds can be added, up to a maximum of 2 extra beds, for children up to 12 years of age. The rooms where beds can be added are the room with green and pink fabrics and the blue room with access from the outside. In the second living room on the first floor there is a double sofa bed.

Extra: The (outdoor) swimming pool is normally open from mid-April or early May until about mid-October. It is heated only on request, and has an extra cost of € 50.00 per day.

On request it is possible to organize tastings of wine and local products.

It is also possible to organize one or more dinners with a typical Tuscan menu.

Possibility of trips to historical sites, monuments and cities of art in Tuscany and Umbria with driver / guide.

In Spring, Summer and early Autumn, my wife and I live on the second floor of the Villa, with an independent entrance and safeguarding the privacy of the guests.

Spend a few days at Villa Catarsena, especially with the good weather is very pleasant and relaxing.
The presence of the heated pool allows you to enjoy the pool also from mid-spring (mid-April, normally) in early Autumn, typically until mid-October.
