About 9 km above Pieve Santo Stefano lies this spacious vacation home with private pool on the southern slopes of the Appennines. The former farmhouse has been restored in rustic style and lovingly furnished; the nine bedrooms are distributed over three floors and two buildings, some with separate entrances. The focal point is the large covered terrace overlooking the valley, where you can take meals outside in any weather - barbecue on the large barbecue and sometimes pizza in the stone oven (available on request, wood for a fee) should not be missed. The owner, who lives in a separate part of the house, will be happy to give you advice and help you cook local specialties (truffles!); products from her own production can be purchased on site. Only about 50 m above is the private fenced pool area, with sun terrace, poolhouse and wide views into the unspoiled forest landscape. There are hiking trails everywhere and for bikers the area is a special fun ? here you have the choice between the nature park of the Casentino and that of Sasso Simone ? both worthwhile destinations! At an altitude of more than 1000 meters, it is possible to enjoy even the hottest summer days. You can also conquer this landscape on horseback ? Riding stable (10 km). You can also swim in the still young Tiber, at the waterfall 5 km (fun for the kids) ? or relax in the warm thermal baths of Bagno di Romagna (20 km). In the surrounding area there are nice medieval towns to discover: Caprese Michelangelo with the birthplace of the artist and good restaurants (18 km), Sansepolcro , the birthplace of Piero della Francesca with pinacoteca, cathedral, large weekly market (22 km), the picturesque hill town of Anghiari (29 km); Arezzo (60 km) and Perugia (90 km) can be reached within an hour's drive, as well as the Adriatic coast, for a bathing day at Cesenatico (80 km).
