A beautiful, large, modern, 1 bedroom – 1 bath Condo. Granite counter tops in the kitchen and bath. Perfect for 2 people or a single traveler. The bedroom has a large luxury king sized bed upgraded with soft cotton sheets and flat screen HD TV. The living room has an automatic gas fireplace, Flat screen smart HD TV and a comfortable sofa with queen sleeper. Perfect place for relaxing in front of the fire. Also included is free premium cable, blue ray DVD player, a speaker docking station and high-speed Wi-Fi. The sit out deck has a gas grill and patio set for two.

This is a corner unit with its own non-shared private walk-up. Three sides of windows make it open, bright and airy. It overlooks Sandstone Creek and, in the winter/summer you get lovely views of the ski slopes and surrounding mountains. The creek also gives the condo soothing, bubbling water sounds year-round. It’s one of the many features our guest enjoy!

Convenient location with the free Vail shuttle right up the steps from the complex. 4 minutes to the Lionshead pedestrian bridge and 7 minutes to Vail Village. 1 free designated parking spot. Coin operated laundry located in the complex. Other amenities, Ninja coffee bar machine, crock pot, rice cooker, bullet blender, electric kettle, dishwasher, ice maker, all new dishes and glassware, microwave, toaster, cookware, and all the utensils you would need.

The condo is stocked with the basics so you can thoroughly enjoy your stay and not run to the store.

Lovely apartment

This is a very spacious and attractive apartment across the main road through Vail. The bed in the main room is very comfortable. It is easy to get to the ski runs on the free bus and a good option for those skiing from Vail Village or Lionshead.

Excellent Place

I had a wonderful time in Brooktree- the apt was fabulous with a beautiful soothing creek next to it. Very comfortable with everything one could possibly need. Great location. Bed was awesome - even though Vail altitude was rough coming from Florida. Wonderful Host !! Look forward to staying again sometime.

Fantastic!

Perfect little condo for my wife and I for a week of skiing at Vail. Up to date. Balcony overlooking the creek was delightful. Gas fireplace was great. Used the propane grill multiple times. Do your best to pack enough clothing as the laundry room is in another building across the parking lot, but it’s only a dollar a load to wash. Free Vail bus to Vail Village and Gondola One was great (“Vail View” is the closest stop….take the stairs on the north side of the parking lot up to Vail View Drive). Dina, our hostess, was SUPER FAST on her responses and very helpful.

Close to Vail

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The place is impeccably clean. We had everything we needed. It's really a home away from home. It is very close to Vail Ski resort, less than 5-7 minutes by car. We also tried the public transportation which took us about 5-7 minutes to the bus stop and another 10-12 minutes to Vail. Locals really encourage you to take the public transportation which is super convenient. Just leave your boot bags and skis at the resort so you don't need to bring them back and forth. The walk to the Vail Village gets challenging when you're carrying heavy equipment. Dina was an excellent host, She responded right away when I had questions. She was very attentive to our needs. We highly recommend this place! Thanks for our wonderful stay!

Avoid if at all Possible!

So many things wrong with this property and owner. I will list in numbers: 1. Locked out when arrived and NO spare key and she lives in Denver. 2. Document she sends says there are the following things that are NOT there, broken or disgusting. a. USB ports in bedroom (none!) b. working USB ports in living (2 don't work) b. Fireplace - Flame gets to 3" and no more. Refused to respond when asked. c. Candles don't have working batteries. d. No K-cup coffee pot - there is a NON working Ninja coffee maker. ALSO ----- 3. stains on the sheets 4. Sofa bed is horrible 5. No onsite support or even local to Vail 6. Windows are filthy - pics. 7. Under sofa and bed had old food, dirt and crusty silverware from previous guest - have pics. 8. Provided TP, Paper towels for one week when rented for month (odd) 9. Window in bedroom does NOT lock - safety issue - pics. 10. No curtains on the window - be prepared to be up at the first light 11. Provides plastic bags for garbage but notice on dumpster says NO PLASTIC BAGS (tricky) 12. Rug in living room has collected years of dust and dirt that if you peel it back you will see the sifted dirt - disgusting.--- pics. 13. If you turn off the heat it remains on in the bathroom making is unbearable to stay in there for long - suffocating. 14. Sofa is beyond replacement time - Stinks and sinks in the middle when you sit on it. 15. Most delivery companies can't find the unit due to the entrance change on the property and it is tucked behind the others and no reflective numbers for them to see. There is NO entry at the address provided - 980 Vail.... 16. There is a duvet but NO cover for it - and it smells of sweat from other residents. 17. Think you have locked the patio door? - most likely you haven't - Must FORCE the latch over. 18. SAFETY ISSUE - The code on the front door lock isn't changed between residents and that is a major safety issue. Here is the worst part. Given #1 - We arrived home one night and the lock was flashing Red. Entered code - nothing. We waited and tried again - Nothing. It was late and cold. We had medication that we MUST take every night. We called and she said "call a locksmith, we are in Denver". Renters can't have locks opened. She sent over neighbor - NO help. Wow! Escalated to anger on both sides. We climbed in unlocked window - she called police next day - she cancelled our stay and we were evicted! Don't STAY HERE. VRBO and Police supported owner and not us!

We had a wonderful weekend in Vail. The condo was perfect. It had everything we needed and it was extremely easy to get back and forth to town. The creek outside of the building made for the most peaceful setting. We loved sitting on the deck and listening to the stream.

Fantastic, comfortable condo and great location

We loved this condo! Location was fantastic, and everything was super comfortable. You could tell this was a home the owners value- so many nice touches, from a really comfortable bed to top of the line appliances, a lovely fireplace, and great amenities throughout. Our host was super responsive and kind- would definitely stay here again.

Convenient and Clean

This condo had everything we needed for a clean, comfortable stay. We had a car rental and so this was not a big problem for us but the bus service to the Village was not an easy walk or convenient to get to from this property.

We were happy with the value and location this property offered in Vail. Unit was clean and well equipped. The shower drains very slow and there are limited towels for an extended stay (more than 4 days) but everything else was excellent!

Great Place in Vail

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and it was great! The property was clean and so close to town we took the shuttle each day and had no issues. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Dina was quick with response about the parking.

My Husband and I love Vail. In 2012 we made our dream of owning a property in Vail come true (see our other listing) Soon after closing on the property we got engaged!!! We decided to rent our property to help pay for our wedding in La Paz, Bolivia. Our property rented so well...we were booked out of our own condo. So we decided to look for another.

Why they chose this property

We looked at so many properties all over Vail, (East and West) but we knew we wanted to be in the Sandstone area. It's the only neighborhood that overlooks the ski slopes. The bus rides are short, the stops are convenient and the views are to die for.

What makes this property unique

When we saw this unit, I fell in love. It was so beautifully remodeled with high end finishes. A Bright and sunny, corner unit with it's own private walk up...no sharing of hallways and the noise that comes with it. Also, it over looks Sandstone Creek. The noise of the water is so soothing. All you hear is the rushing water....and I even saw a trout!
