Photos did not do this house justice! We loved every minute of our stay. We were visiting our daughter who attends FSU, so the drive was a little farther than we would have liked, but the house was absolutely worth it. The host was very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay.One small thing to note: the checkout instructions asked us to take our trash to the local dumpster, but when we arrived, it was closed on Sundays. It would have been helpful to know this ahead of time or have an alternate option, as we ended up having to drive home 4 hours with our trash.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the home!

Jessica and this Cherry Lake home were great. The home was clean and had all the amenities to make for a wonderful trip. We can’t wait for our next trip to Cherry Lake Serenity.

The property functions well for large families. There’s lots of seating inside for meals and games and visiting. A separate ice maker would be a nice addition because in hot weather with a crowd the refrigerator ice was not enough. I didn’t ask if we would be able to jump into the lake for swimming from the dock so was disappointed to find out we could not because it is too shallow. Guests need to take the trash to a collection center about 4 miles away which was fine; but, on our check out day on Sunday with extra bags after clean up we found out it was closed and had to travel home with all of it in the car. That could be noted in the instruction book to guests.

Thank you for staying with us! We've recently updated our trash service and now provide private curbside pickup, so guests no longer need to take trash to the dump. Thank you to Pops Sanitation for this service. 😊 We're sorry the lake levels were lower during your visit. Florida experienced drought conditions for much of the year, and many lakes and rivers have been affected. Thankfully, we've had a good amount of rain over the past couple of weeks, and we're hopeful the lake will continue to rise. For guest convenience, we provide two ice makers—one in the freezer and one in the refrigerator—as well as a separate beverage refrigerator. We appreciate your feedback and thank you again for choosing to stay with us. ☺️
