UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT: Azalea, with its charming pink exterior, is ready to spoil you and your guests with one of the most sought-after properties in Beachwalk. Enjoy this custom-built home designed with adjoining great room, dining area and kitchen. A perfect space for everyone to gather. The full basement rec room with tv viewing area, game table, ping pong table, foosball, and train table complete with trains, Legos, and Lincoln Logs provides kids or young adults a great place to hang out (NOTE: Since the basement does not have an egress window, it is not considered a habitable space by code and thus cannot be used for sleeping). And don’t overlook the first-floor bedroom with adjoining bathroom for guests that may want to avoid stairs.
In addition to the queen bedroom on the first floor, there are four bedrooms and a laundry facility with a full sized washer and dryer on the second floor. The primary has a king bed, private full bathroom, walk-in closet and private deck that extends the length of the home. Outdoor space at Azalea includes a screened in porch set up for lounging and eating; a front porch equipped with rocking chairs and porch swing; two second floor decks ideal for private sunbathing or enjoying a morning cup of java from the second-floor coffee bar; and finally, a custom-built fire pit. A few additions were made to the screened porch this year: two whisper quiet ceiling fans and an overhead heating in the lounge area for those chilly evenings.
Azalea is stocked with board games and puzzles for all age levels for indoor amusement. And for your convenience there are toddler sized life jackets, beach/picnic blankets, pickleball paddles and balls, pool and beach toys, camp and beach chairs, portable bluetooth speaker, and two wagons: one specifically designed for use on the beach and one for toting the little ones to the playground. The kitchen is fully equipped including a refrigerator with two ice makers, crock-pot, and both a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig. There is also an additional refrigerator/freezer in the basement for guests to use.
There is parking for four cars; two in front on Childers and two on the paver parking pad in the rear. The parking pad will also accommodate a golf cart. The resort allows golf carts driven only by individuals with a valid driver's license. They can be rented locally from LanCam by contacting them directly at (219) 929-9221.

The location was ideal for us, midway between parking lot and Lake Michigan, one block from Lake Kai. We’ve stayed in 5 homes at Beachwalk and this was the best taken care of. Nothing was lacking that we needed. The home is sunny, bright, cheerful and comfortable.
We have stayed at several homes in the Beachwalk community and Azalea was right up at the top as far as favorites! So many thoughtful touches to this home, its hard to list. Our hosts seem to have thought of everything you may need for a stay at the beach. We loved the common living space, and the huge table that allowed the whole family to eat together. Very comfortable beds and plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. The bathrooms and showers were clean and lovely. The basement area with games, ping pong and foosball was also a cool hang out spot. Overall, we loved this house and would stay again!
The pink house was just wonderful and the owners really thought of everything to make our stay so full and fun! We have stayed in many places and this place was stocked over and beyond. We wish we could have stayed for a week, but it was expensive! Every part of the house, the rooms, kitchen, basement game room, porches, pool and beach boxes were all full of everything you could want or need!! The crockpot, spices, chip clips, s’mores stuff, life jackets for the kids, extra batteries - just so many little touches! We really enjoyed the community too: walking, play grounds, live music, the pool, beaches, ice cream parlor and fire pit!We made such sweet memories on both the porches! The place was so clean and spacious! The only thing that would have been nice would have been darker window coverings in the rooms, but they were comfy beds and spacious! It was a blessed time for our whole family of 13 with our kids and grandkids. The sunset over Lake Michigan was beautiful too!

We are so happy to hear you enjoyed our home and the Beachwalk resort. We took your suggestion and installed blackout window shades in several of the bedrooms! Hope to host you in the future.
Where do I even begin with beautiful Azalea, "The Pink House," and the special memories made there?! The house itself is ideally located in the Beachwalk community; central so you are close to the pool, basketball, small lake, coffee/ice cream, and very walkable for Lake Michigan, while still nestled on a nice quiet street w/ other beautiful homes. The home itself with its serene front porch rocking chairs and comfy screened in porch with perfect napping couches and ceiling fans, were fan favorites for us. The large tables outdoors & indoors were perfect for us to play cards and share lots of laughs over meals. The house was fully stocked w/ kitchen items like coffee, appliances, and cleaning supplies. Also fully stocked with beach toys, outdoor chairs, board games, towels, blankets, soaps, etc...We were blown away by how spacious, clean, and well maintained the home is. The layout was wonderful for our 3 families that shared the home and we would all love to come back in the future. The home owner was amazing from start to finish - very easy to contact and informative. The day we arrived there was a storm and they came immediately to clean up some tree debris. When we used up the propane, again they immediately rectified that so we could keep enjoying family time. She was responsive, informative, and very thoughtful with all the little touches that make a big difference in a rental. It was truly a special place to spend time away and enjoy everything midwest summers offer!
