The Reserve on Main | Private Luxe Floor 12 guests
Summary:
A private floor at The Reserve feels like that impossibly stylish friend’s apartment—the one with better music, better lighting, and better snacks. Your group gets six king bedrooms with ensuite baths, a velvet lounge, and a kitchen with presence. Drink, dance, play games, cook. Or don’t. Add-on experiences bourbon tastings, private bartender, live music make it unforgettable. At the intersection of Whiskey Row and Museum Row, this is your wing, your weekend, your way.
The Space:
Forget the hotel suite. You get the whole floor.
The Reserve on Main is Louisville’s only private group stay located above an operating distillery experience—a rare gem in the heart of Whiskey Row, and the only one of its kind in Kentucky. Step outside, and you’re on the most bourbon-dense block in the country, with more working distilleries experiences within two blocks—Pursuit Spirits, Buzzard’s Roost, Michter’s, Green River, Evan Williams, Peerless, Bardstown Bourbon—than the rest of the city combined. It’s a location made for spirited weekends, and you have a front-row seat.
By day, it’s a rejuvenation retreat surrounded by possibility. Wake up to espresso walks along the riverfront, museum visits, downtown adventures, and recovery rituals that come to you—IV therapy, in-room massage, stocked fridges or hangover kits designed to revive. Take the elevator down Trial & Error speakeasy, where you can even blend and bottle your own custom bourbon at Pursuit Spirits.
By night, it becomes the kind of velvet-drenched hangout where stories start and memories forget to end. Lights low. Vinyls on. Cards dealt. The whole space can transform into your private event: live music (think Grammy-winning folk & bluegrass innovator and his cello or moody late-night DJs), exclusive tastings with local bourbon legends, private dinner prepared by James Beard nominated chef, master sommelier/master of champagne (only in the state), pop-up bar with personal bartender, tarot readings, or simply good conversation with better snacks.
Each guest floor includes:
5 king and 1 queen bedrooms, each with a private ensuite bath
A refined lounge with lighting on point, locally curated vinyl, and enough seating to sprawl, scheme, or unwind.
A full kitchen—stocked with the essentials, or optionally elevated with indulgences: pursuit spirits cocktail kits, packed lunches for your bourbon trail itinerary, hangover provisions, and late-night snacks
It’s not a hotel. Not a house. It’s a floor designed for gathering. Think elevated house party meets cocktail lounge meets overnight escape—minus the overhead lights and awkward strangers. Whether changing the vinyl, sharing a bottle, or retreating to your room with room-service vibes, this isn’t just a place to stay: it’s your private wing of downtown Louisville, crafted for connection and designed to disappear the line between lodging and lifestyle.
Add-on experiences turn your floor into something unforgettable:
Exclusive bourbon tastings led by Kentucky legends—the only in-room tastings in the state conducted by an operating distillery
Living room concerts from Grammy-winning artists or moody DJs for soundtracking your evening
In-room massage, IV therapy, or sound baths for recovery without leaving your room
These aren’t your average Airbnb “experiences.”
They’re curated insider moments—access to things even locals can’t book without knowing someone. (Lucky for you, we are that someone.)
No overhead lights. No awkward strangers. Just your people, your playlist, your tempo.
A private wing of the city—with a little mischief and a lot of mood.
Guest Access:
You’ll get a private, secure code for contactless check-in and elevator access straight to your floor. The entire level is yours—six king suites with ensuite baths, a moody lounge, and a full kitchen stocked with essentials (or upgraded with local cocktail kits, bourbon snacks, and more)
