About our Staff
Chela, Claudia, maintenance, my husband Larry, and myself all comprise a service team of five people to oversee the care and condition of 9 houses. We are scaled to the right size to allow for the time to give plenty of attention to the care of each and every guest home.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home and yard.
Interaction with guests
I’ve designed this space to be accessed at any time (late check ins are just fine). My day job does keep me busy so most likely I will not be there to greet you at the door, but I have a servants heart and I am easily reached. Upon check in if you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to shoot me a text or give me a call and I will be happy to help. I also know where all the best local dining is based on your tastes!!
Other things to note
Around the corner from restaurants, bars, Washburn University, zoo, Expo Center and downtown.
This home is used exclusively for vacation rentals. The basement is unfinished but has a washer and dryer that guests are welcome to use.
To ensure you get settled in and have a great start to your stay with us, we have provided an initial supply of small items around the house including toilet paper but these may not be enough for your entire stay and you may need to purchase additional supplies.
We do realize last minute overnight guests may come for a variety of reasons. If this situation arises please contact me and amend your reservation for the correct number of people. This will protect both parties in regards to your insurance coverage etc.

About the host
Hosted by Brandie Holloway

Hey guys, I'm Brandie!
I was born in the '70s and recently decided to slow down my horse show career to stay at home more with my two younger sons and husband.
In the past, I spent 42 weeks on the road per year, giving me lots of experience staying at vocational rentals while horse showing. This gave me great insight to understand what people want (or don't want!) while traveling for vacation and/or work. I've started this new chapter to help with income while I spend more time with the kiddos and I love decorating! So this really isn't work for me.
I'm a 3rd generation Topekan so I can tell you all the good places to go. I look forward to help make your stay in the midwest wonderful!
Thank you for checking out my places and I hope to talk to you soon!

What makes this property unique
The neighborhood
Brandie’s home is located in Topeka, Kansas, United States.
Westboro is a central-Topeka neighborhood featuring large homes in Italian Renaissance Revival, French Eclectic and Colonial styles. This area includes a quaint shopping area, Westboro Mart, with an eclectic array of specialty shops.
More information
Many of the homes in Westboro, built in the 1920s and 1930s, became model homes for the L.F. Garlinghouse Company of Topeka, which sold the floor plans via annual catalogs throughout the United States.
Getting around
Very easy access to all highways including I-70.
Easy to get around by car, bike, or foot..
Topeka Transit buses travel just near the house, therefore, taking a bus is a breeze. For driving, it is reasonably close to I-70. Topeka streets are on a grid. The numbered streets run East and West, and the named streets run North and South. I will be happy to give local directions.
Topeka is accessible from the following: I-70, I-335 and I-470; U.S 24, 40 and 75; KS 4. I-70 east of Topeka to Kansas City is a toll road. I-335 is also a toll road which head south to Emporia where it joins I-35 out of Wichita.
