About this property
Sedona Serendipity -- Unique and charming indoors and out, perfect location
NEW! Trailhead parking pass included.
Just inside the gate is a lovely oasis with private flagstone patio, lush landscaping, and calming fountain. Four separate patio areas include multiple chairs, a hammock, a drop leaf table with seating for 6, as well as a fire pit and a gas grill. All outdoors is a secret garden of blooming plants and shrubs, dense vines, and cool, deep shade from mature trees. There's even a little vegetable garden and apple and apricot trees.
This charming home has been beautifully remodeled while keeping the original elements like a natural stone bedroom fireplace for candlelit elegance along with gorgeous floors and ponderosa pine ceiling beams.
The living room is open and full of light from multiple large windows. It includes an Apple TV equipped with free Hulu and Netflix and many other apps through Apple TV. I do NOT, however, provide access to live premium sporting events. For those, guests must have their own logins to the streaming services. Please check the living room closet for a large stash of area information along with a great selection of games and books, compliments of the Sedona Friends of the Library.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a Keurig K475 coffee maker and a Ninja Mega Kitchen System blender and processor. Several sweeteners including local honey and raw sugar are provided along with numerous varieties of tea and coffee. At least 20 different spices await your creative touch in the kitchen. A special treat is the pure spring water right from the tap provided to a small area by the Oak Creek Water Company.
You will find everything you need in this kitchen with a full size gas range, microwave, toaster oven, fridge, dishwasher, disposal, washer/dryer (detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets provided), all dishes and glassware, all cookware, etc. Even a high chair is available upon request.
For travelers with little ones, enjoy an Evenflo port-a-crib with a 3 inch mattress and sheets, a stroller, a high chair, a walker, a potty chair, a changing pad, and a baby bath seat. All are available upon request.
All areas have wifi access.
The home is equipped with smoke detectors in every room, a carbon monoxide detector, a fire extinguisher (under the kitchen sink), and 2 first aid kits (in the bathrooms).
Use upper driveway and back entrance to avoid the 5 steps from the lower driveway to the front entrance, From the back entrance, only one step down is necessary to access to the whole house.
This is a one-of-a-kind property, which exudes the unique spirit of Sedona!

About the host
Hosted by MARY M EVANS

I am a retired educator lucky enough to move to Sedona with my husband in 2016. Though I am a new resident, I have vacationed here with children and grandchildren for 25 years and I can assure you, the Sedona magic is a very real phenomenon! I love this landscape of red rocks, creeks, and trails, beautiful and different with each season and you will too! Now, it is my privilege and delight to host you in my own Sedona Serendipity.
Why they chose this property
Sedona Serendipity is a hidden gem nestled behind giant mulberry trees. On this old West Sedona street, the many trees interlace above the roadway to form a green tunnel throughout the summer and a golden blaze in autumn. The moment this property came up for sale, I knew it was the one. Both inside and outside it cheers and calms the spirit.
What makes this property unique
This home's history is enfolded into Sedona's history. It began more than half a century ago with the shed in back which was a bunkhouse! The main house was built as a "cowboy house" and has been remodeled many times into the delightful house it is now with its private and serene patios and landscaping.
