Fort Myers Beach is apart of Lee County's Estero Island, a narrow strip of land that is one mile wide at its widest point. Though it is best known for its near perfect climate, abundant sandy beaches and ideal location for enjoying a wide range of water sports, this city offers much more than just a beach break for the vacationer. There are a number or bars and restaurants that cater to the needs of any guest. From a fancy dinner overlooking the ocean to a bachelorette party looking to "burn the midnight oil", there is plenty of experiences to be had on Ft. Myers Beach. This is also a great spot for shelling, boating, kayaking, bicycling, jet skiing, parasailing, swimming and of course, just taking a nap and getting a tan. The location of this home will not disappoint!
There is a Publix Grocery located 0.6 miles from the home, a marina, many restaurants, and the trolley stop is beside the ocean access #16 right across the street!
You can rent mopeds, bicycles, beach equipment and much more right on Estero Blvd, which is the main road going through the town of Fort Myers Beach.
Ride down to Lover's Key one day - you will thoroughly enjoy the trip. You can catch a ride on the trolley.
Since Estero Island is very narrow, you can walk to the back bay and explore the many uninhabited keys within the bay that play host to hundreds of different species of birds, plants and mammals.

The house is in an awesome location, very close to the beach. It was clean and welcoming upon arrival with waters and snacks. The set up worked well for our family, two teen boys, my husband and I and my parents. The pool area was also beautiful. The furniture in the house is in need of replacement. The chairs at the table were hazardous, the beds were coming apart, and the outside table was missing part of a leg. The electricity also surged whenever you ran the dishwasher or washing machine causing all of the lights in the house to flicker and the TV to shut off. If these issues were fixed it would be 5
A great house and nicely appointed.Short walk to the beach. The pool and spa are wonderful. The owner was quick to respond to any concerns we had. Would definitely stay again
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our young kids and a little family getaway. There was plenty of space for our family and grandparents and it was very easy to get to the beach and take the trolley. Mid island location allows for easy travel up and down the beach. Really great setup.
Had a great stay with the family here. The city is working on overcoming the devastation of Hurricane Ian. This property has done a great job of getting rebuilt.
The house was plenty big for 2 families. A little tight on bathroom/shower space with teens. Some of putdoor furniture needs to be replaced. Nice and close to beach and was clean. The owner was responsive and helped out when issues came up.

The house was close to the beach as listed. There is only one restaurant within walking distance so if you prefer walking this is not the ideal place to stay. The traffic is so bad it takes at least 40 mins (3 miles) to get to any other restaurants near Times Square if you’re going past 12pm. The heater for the pool and hot tub was not consistent, sometimes it would heat up fast, other times it would not. The pool water was very cloudy when we arrived and debris in the bottom. The property outside is not unkept well at all, there are weeds everywhere and old rusted patio furniture. Beds were ok for comfort but not great, cheap bedding on all of the beds. The dryer had to be ran for 3 cycles before it would dry a small load of clothes; the owner messaged asking if it was okay for the maintenance person to come fix it (without me telling them about the problem so they already knew it was an issue but did not tell us ahead of time) while we were gone, they did not let us know that they were unable to fix it so we ended up with two loads of wet clothes that took hours to dry. The house was not very clean. Not enough cooking dishes to make anything more than a simple meal. Plan to buy/bring extra garbage bags, paper towels, etc. The repairs done to the home were not quality, everything has been pieced together. Overall, the house did the job and fit our group of 8 very well and we enjoyed our time.
The location of the house was a short walk to the beach. Publix grocery store was just down the road. The pool was an awesome bonus to have when you didn’t want to go to the beach. The home had 5 bedrooms which gave everyone their own space. We had an awesome family vacation. The owner was easy to communicate and responded quickly when we had sny question or a problem.

Hill 2025 Vacation
House was “just okay”. LP tank for grill was empty and we had get new one. Owner offered to reimburse. Had to fix shower handle and dryer didn’t work well cause lint tray, etc was full! Cleaned it out and was better but not perfect. Landscaping still needs work. Pool was great and house close to ocean. Traffic was awful.
We had a great time at this house. Lots of room for all of us. We were either enjoying time around the pool or down at the beach. It was a quick 3-5 minute walk to the beach. Most of the house was as described but a couple of the photos of the downstairs area in the listing are inaccurate due to the downstairs being completely re-modeled due to Hurricane Ian. The downstairs area was nice with a grill, TV, couple fans and plenty of seating for eating meals. Definitely a nice area for a much needed break from the sun.

Pros:
•The house had a great location with a quick walk to a public beach access.
•There were a bunch of beach toys and chairs to use as well as a wagon to get them all down to the beach.
•The pool was nice and the kids really enjoyed it
•The home was a perfect size for our family
•There was a pack N play there for use.
•Each room had a ceiling fan.
•There was a grill was nice to have.
Cons:
•The fridge was leaking from the bottom so the kitchen floor was always wet.
•The shower in the master bathroom did not have much for water pressure.
•Many lights were either missing light bulbs or did not work altogether.
•One of the shower doors was broken.
• The bathroom sink did not have warm water.
• Both the wine fridge and the freezer need to be defrosted.
•It is listed that there are sleeper sofas, both of which were broken.
•The patio door was broken and difficult to open.
•The patio railings were broken which was a terrible hazard for our family with small children.
•The overall cleanliness of the home was very poor when we arrived.
•The window air conditioner’s were Full of mold.
•The down stairs smoke detectors were taken down, and put in a cabinet.
Love location and love the house not my first time renting this place and won't be my last this will be the home I rent for every vacation for our friends and family
We enjoyed our stay at this house! It’s conveniently located with just a short walk to the beach with a crosswalk. There’s plenty of parking and the pool was great.
The location of the house was perfect for a short walk to the beach with our 3 and 5 year old grandkids. The open kitchen and dining made family meal time enjoyable. The deck and pool area provided sun and shade throughout the day. Jesse was very responsive to any concerns we had. The listing doesn’t mention the downstairs is not accessible from inside the house. The master bath water pressure was very low. There were a few minor things that could be fixed that would make this house perfect, but our stay was very enjoyable.
Great location! Short walk to an uncrowded beach. We had a couple hiccups with check-in, however. Keys were not left at the property and we had to contact VRBO directly to resolve the issue because the property manager on the listing did not respond. I did hear back from another property manager, however, and he was very helpful. The only other complaints would be that the pool cleaner did not show up and the trees around the pool shed a lot of debris. Also, there is no indoor access to the downstairs from the upstairs so you have to walk outside to get between the two levels. I give this place 4 stars because I couldn't have asked for a better location and the pool area was like a private oasis. Excellent neighborhood as well. Overall we had a good stay.

Wonderful spa, pool and palms
Attentive owner, nice outdoor amenities, close to the beach, plenty of space
Had our annual family vacation here. Plenty of room for four families with young children. Location was great. Just a short walk to the beach. Plenty of pool and beach paraphernalia in garage. Overall we had a great time. We all agreed, however, the house could use some updating and maintenance. The beds and couch need to be updated. The couch sagged in back and there were exposed staples on top where the back was pulling away. Everyone complained about their uncomfortable bed.
The house also had some maintenance problems.
Refrigerator leaked from the bottom.
We had to buy light bulbs to replace a number of burnt out or missing bulbs.
Very low water pressure especially in master shower. Shower door off track in the other shower.
Musty odor in lower lever. Improved with dehumidifier and A/C on but never really went away.
Unable to regulate hot tub/ pool temp.
Loose railing slats on back stairway.
Overall, I felt the house was dirty when I arrived. Even the coffee pot had still had a thick brown film left from previous uses.
Floors were not clean and one of the showers had bad water pressure. Nice to have 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all on the same floor. The property needs a little TLC. The spa never got warmer than 87. The owner was responsive about issues but the pool people never did get it fixed the 18 days we were there. The location works great for short walking trips to the beach and only a 3 minute drive to Publix.
So many good things to say about this home. Communication from Jesse was timely and all necessary info was provided for a smooth check in . Location of home is mid island close to trolley stop and very short walk to beach. The layout of the home was ideal for my family. We enjoyed the pool table and loved the tropical feel of the pool and backyard. Plenty of towels, beach chairs, wagon, kitchen supplies are provided. I would definitely stay again if we return to Ft Myers Beach next year.
