About this property
Your Private 50-Acre Country Getaway for the exclusive use of up to 44 Guests
The seasonal base price covers up to 14 guests ($50/night for additional guests). Rental includes exclusive use of the "Lodge" w/24 beds (12 bunk beds), 3 bathrooms w/5 showers and 5 toilet stalls, WiFi, streaming Internet TV, lounge, full kitchen, and dining area.
Groups with 20 or more guests also have access to "Willow" w/12 beds (6 bunk beds), bathroom w/2 showers, 2 toilet stalls), lounge, and a full kitchen.
We have a small chapel that seats 50 guests (please use respectfully).
Our 75' x 20' pool is open from May through September. The pool area has 2 umbrella tables, chairs, lounge chairs, and a charcoal grill. Guests have 24/7 access and are responsible for children's safety.
The 120-140 seat amphitheater with a stage, lighting, and power outlets (suitable for small weddings).
Recreation includes basketball and volleyball courts, woodland trails, fields, a pond, and a stream as well as indoor foosball and pool tables.
For an additional fee, guests may also use our 80-guest-capacity dining hall and commercial kitchen.
The question we are asked most often is, "Will our group really have exclusive use including the pool?" Yes, it is true! We only rent this beautiful 50-acre property in scenic Lancaster County PA to one group at a time. It is for the EXCLUSIVE use of YOUR GROUP ONLY, and in the summer that includes 24/7 pool use.
This unique rental policy means you don't have to share the facilities. You can play the music you want without bothering other groups because there are no other guests! If you are a family gathering with children, you will know that there will not be other people on the property.
Our closest neighbors are 2 horse farms on one side, and a tree nursery, and an Amish farm on the other side. The following are within a 5-minute drive of Camp Oak Hill: an Amish farm with 3 large greenhouses selling beautiful flowers and other plants, the Octoraro River where guests may fish or go kayaking, the Octoraro Lake for boating and fishing, 2 convenience stores, an Italian food eat-in or carryout, an ice cream parlor, a terrific family restaurant that right across the street from the Herr's Potato Chip Factory where you can take a fun tour!
A brief 15-minute drive will get you into the town of Oxford where you will find great restaurants, a Walmart, a local grocery store, pizza joints, Chinese food, sports bars, and many other good eating places too numerous to list here but that you can find on our website.
Within a half-hour drive are the Susquehanna River, the Conowingo Dam, golf courses, and The Buck where you can see a demolition derby, tractor pulls, monster truck competitions, rodeos, and more. The popular tourist city of Lancaster is just 30 minutes away. There you can shop at the many brand-name outlet stores, go to Light & Sound Theater with Broadway quality productions or the American Music Theater featuring famous entertainers, take the kids to Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park, play miniature golf, and eat at any number of Pennsylvania "Dutch" restaurants and much more!

Why they chose this property
The natural beauty alone of these 50 acres makes it a special place. We continue to improve and expand the facilities to meet the needs of our guests. Convenient to Lancaster, Harrisburg, Philly, Baltimore and Washington, DC.
What makes this property unique
Our rental policy of only renting to one group at a time is unusual if not unique for a group getaway property. We are secluded and yet in close proximity to fun things to do, great places to shop and eat, sightseeing, horse farms, Amish markets, lakes, rivers and much more.
