Welcome to Hamblins Holiday House, passing through Kanab for the night or planning a vacation, HHH, is a great place to stay.

We're located in the heart of Kanab, Utah, within the "Ranchos." Beautiful views of the Kaibab Forest and the red rocks of Kanab.

Appx 1600 square feet, this newly remodeled home has lots of amenities to make your stay make you as comfortable as if you were home.

A very comfortable king-size mattress in the master bedroom as well as a walk-in closet.

The Master Bath has a walk-in shower and a double vanity sink, cupboards stocked with soft linens.

The first guest bedroom has a king-size bed, a comfortable mattress, and a walk-in closet.

The second guest bedroom can sleep up to 5 with a double bed and a bunk bed set (double on the bottom, XL twin on top bunk), and a separate double bed that sleeps two.

The guest bathroom has both Tub/Shower combo. The guest bathroom is located across from both guest bedrooms.

For your convenience, there is a separate laundry room with both the washer and dryer.

There is plenty of seating in the living room with a sectional sofa and standard sofa. Lots of seating for dinnertime, too. A beautiful table in the kitchen, seats 5 as well as the dining area which can seat 6 - 10, as the dining table size extends. (Let us know, and we will take care of it prior to your arrival)

The kitchen is supplied with many small appliances for all your needs, espresso coffee, juicer, blender, food processer, pots and pans, baking items, dishes, glasses, Silverware, crockpot, etc. To find everything easily, we have marked and referenced all items .

There is an additional bonus room appx 500+ square feet with a separate bamboo couch, chair, and table set area. A table area with a pass thru to the kitchen, making this a great place to stay for a large family/group.

Upon request. On those warmer nights, we have a couple of camping cots if you want to sleep in the enclosed patio.

This home is located in the heart of kanab and surrounded by Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, The North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, all within 30 to 78 miles.

Visit the Grand Staircase - Escalante Monument, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, The 'Wave'/Paria Wilderness, Pipe Springs National Monument, Kodachrome State Park, Cedar Breaks and Cedar Mountain.

Also, tour Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, or hike in the red rock surrounding the area. There are many hiking trails, ATV trails, and so many outdoor activities.

Party/ Get Together

My friends and I got together and did a murder mystery party. They even let us in early to be able to set up for the party! Super cool home, spacious, and they gave us some free range chicken eggs! Nicest people and very quick to respond to any questions. We loved our stay there!

Home Away from Home

Our stay was fantastic. Our original reservation was canceled on us last minute due to a double booking. Rosanna was awesome during the whole crazy rebooking process. Rebooking last minute is stressful, but once we got there all stress melted away. Check in was a breeze. The property was clean and well maintained. Everything was labeled which was actually very helpful. The house had everything we needed. There was a basic stock of food that actually was so helpful and appreciated. The kids loved the snacks...it was an impressive offering. Rosanna was quick to assist when needed. Don't hesitate to book!

The best home away from home I’ve ever booked. And I travel a LOT!

I’ve traveled hundreds of times all over the world in my career and for leisure. From the moment my husband and I arrived, we knew this place was special. The amenities are incredible from both salty as well as sweet snacks in bowls around the common areas, to water and Gatorade in the fridge, to apples, oranges and bananas in the kitchen. Other perks like coffee and tea, spices and seasonings, trash bags, sandwich bags, kitchen soap, hand soap, wrapped toothbrushes and toothpaste and lotion were also offered. Communication was quick and efficient. The house and covered patio were spotless. For an at risk person, the detail they put into their cleanliness protocol was impressive. On top of all of this, the house is spacious and inviting. We came to access Lake Powell, Bryce, Vermillion Cliffs (Buckskin Gulch), Septarian egg hunting, Toadstools Park, Cedar Breaks and Kolob Canyons. You will travel as quickly as 20 minutes to 90 minutes max from this centrally located house. We will be back. Can’t recommend enough!

Comfortable home

We traveled unexpectedly from the west coast to escape the wildfire smoke. Finding a last-minute VRBO that allows kids and dogs and has enough room for us to live and work for a week or two was a tall order, but this place was perfect. After the first night, we extended our stay another week so that we would have time to see some of the sights around Kanab. The internet is fast and reliable - we were able to work and join school classes all simultaneously. The house is so COMFORTABLE. It’s like going to grandma’s house. So many VRBOs are run by property management companies now, but this one is much more personal. I need a post-it and a pen? They are in the little desk next to the fridge, where they might be in any home. The broom? In the same place I use. The blankets? Sooooo soft. Chilly? There’s a throw just where it should be. It’s not modern-fancy. It’s a home. There were snacks. We came in late at night after a long day in the car and my kids discovered ho-hos. And Doritos. And Frosted Flakes. I have a teenager, he was pretty delighted. That was a surprise, but welcome after a long day. They even let us see their chickens and pull some eggs that we cooked up. Fresh eggs and a cool experience. We weren’t looking to stay in Kanab, but I’m so glad we happened upon it! I’d stay here again in in a minute. After a rushed trip to flee the conditions at home and no plan of where to go besides “where the smoke isn’t”, we were so very lucky to land in this home. And the surrounding area is beautiful and a lot of fun to explore.

Excellent property

We loved our stay at this quiet and clean property. We came with four kids ages 10 - 18. Rosanna was amazing to work with and provided snacks along with the well appointed house. The beds were comfortable, the family room was great for sitting around and talking and watching movies, and the location was perfect as a base camp for all of our adventures from Kanab. We would stay here again. Thanks again, Rosanna.

Comfortable House, Great Location

This house is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. After a busy day of adventures in southern Utah, it was nice to come back to hot showers and cold AC. The owners graciously stock locks of food and snacks. The fresh eggs were a bonus! We had a great time and were very comfortable during our stay.

Wonderful property!

This place is perfectly located in Kanab. We went to the Grand Canyon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Lower Antelope Canyon near Lake Powell and hiked a few trails in Kanab. This place is super clean. It was the best stocked place I’ve stayed in EVER. There was fresh eggs, snacks, drinks in the fridge, coffee, creamer and even ingredients for a spaghetti dinner. This host goes above and beyond for her guests. You won’t be disappointed! When we come back to Kanab, I’m definitely rebooking! Thank you.

Loved staying here. A beautiful and convenient location. The kids went crazy for the snacks and my husband and I were so impressed with the yummy farm fresh eggs. We love having a kitchen to cook in to have hearty meals to sustain our National Park adventures!

Perfect Base

This was the perfect base for our trips to Bryce, Zion, and the North Rim. The house is warm and cozy. The kitchen was stocked extremely well. It was easy to cook and bake there, as if you were staying in someone's house, not a rental. Labels on all the cabinets and drawers really helped! The beds and baths were nice, and there was plenty of space to relax after hiking. Kanab has two groceries that supplied all we needed. The hosts rate a 10. Rosanna and Curtis were so helpful and friendly. Before we arrived I told Rosanna that I would be baking. When we arrived everything I needed and more was on the kitchen counter. Rosanna also told me that we should look in the house before buying any groceries. There were a lot of the items in the house already that we would have bought. Rosanna and Curtis even gave us fresh eggs! They were both extremely knowledgeable of the area and had great recommendations for things to do. They responded to our texts with questions promptly. As we continued our journey through other areas in Utah I missed our time in Kanab.

Talk about the gift of hospitality! We felt not only very comfortable, but also well cared-for. The location was perfect for our week long hiking vacation. Communication with the host was excellent and timely. She provided so many "extras" that made our stay feel extra special. I hope we are blessed again to take this sort of vacation again, and we will not hesitate to stay here!

Perfect place to stay near Kanab

The Hamblin holiday house in Kanab is the perfect place to stay for families. It is clean, comfortable with all of the amenities and the hosts are out of this world! We were pleasantly surprised on our arrival with a refrigerator stocked with milk and drinks, baskets full of snacks and fresh eggs from their free range chickens. They even replenished the eggs after we shared some with our sister in law who was also staying in the area. Everything was marked so we could find things easily and the location was fantastic. The hosts also included a book of things to do in the area which helped us discover a fantastic hike that was not in our plan. We really appreciated everything they did to make our stay pleasant and highly recommended this for anyone looking to stay in the area. Thanks again for everything!

BEST stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in!

We have rented a lot of places thru VRBO and the like and this was by far the best stocked place we have EVER stayed at. They had waters, soda etc in the fridge, dry goods in the cabinets, multiple baskets with candy, granola bars, all the paper goods u could need, and the best FRESH eggs. They even contacted us mid way thru our stay to see if we needed anything. The house was as described and very comfortable. Kitchen was super well stocked with all the kitchen gadgets u could ever need. It was located about 2-3 miles from the downtown area. If we were ever in the area again would stay here again in a heartbeat A+++ rental!

Very nice home.

This home is very comfortable and very well furnished. Also they had the refrigerator stocked and had dishes of treats all over the house. The kitchen was better stocked with utensils then most of the rentals that we stayed in. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful time in Kanab.

Great for large family. Clean and very well equipped.

To be honest the outside looks a bit sketchy, especially the back yard but the inside is so nice! Very comfortable furniture and beds. Nice big kitchen and the owners filled the fridge with Gatorade and waters and fruit. So nice.

LoveD our stay

The property was just as advertised. The hosts went above and beyond, leaving tons of snacks, breakfast foods, paper goods, and anything else we might need. Not to mention the fresh eggs! We even got the chance to meet their chickens, and got even more eggs to bring home with us. Would definitely stay here again.

This property is very conveniently located for exploring the Vermilion cliffs.

It is very clean. It is a short drive to Kanab. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with every gadget you may want. The owner was kind enough to supply us with fruit, fresh ranch eggs, and many snacks. The master bathroom was very spacious. The other bedrooms were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and there were ample towels. The living areas and kitchen were comfortable and well furnished. I enjoyed my stay at this property and would certainly stay here again.

Great location for day trips

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay here. It was a great home base for day trips to Bryce, Zion, and Vermilion Cliffs. We had plenty of room, and the house was thoughtfully well-stocked with supplies and snacks. We appreciated having a washer & dryer so we didn't have to pack quite as much. Much better than squeezing into a little hotel room!

Rosanna and Curtis moved here in 2008. Curtis hamblin has quite a family tie to this area and we knew one day this would be our retirement. Curtis' great-great uncle Jacob Hamblin, was one of the settlers of this area.

I was born and raised in southern california. Moving to a small rural town may be challening for a city girl but for me was amazing. With so many outdoor adventures and so many great people here ever day is a vacation day for us.

Why they chose this property

Kanab is any area easy to fall in love with. In addition to the beautiful nature that surrounds the area, the feeling one gets while here is beyond words. It is an area that gives a feeling of tranquility and peace. In addition there is an unlimited amount of outdoor adventure to experience. Whatever you desire from fishing, hiking, site seeing, experiencing the many festivals throughout the year or just relaxing, this is where you can have it all. For those of you that travel with livestock; or want to plan a horseback riding trip to one of the beautiful Canyons, We offer offsite overnight stay for your livestock. We have 2 fenced off lots 1 at 11000 SQ FT and 1 fenced off lot at 22000 SQ FT. Southern Utah truely has endless possibilities for an amazing vacation. Once your finished with your day, Hamblins Holiday House is the perfect place to come home to!

What makes this property unique

Our house is located in the center of many national parks and canyons, making it easy to plan day trips to Zions National Park, Bryce Canyon, North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Slot Canyons,
hiking trails, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and so many more outdoor activities. All of this is between 35-60 minutes from the VRBO. Do you travel with you horses? Livestock? If so and have a hard time finding a spot to give your animals room to stretch, then your at the right place. We offer Off Site , Overnight stay for your livestock. The area is fenced off, 11000 SQ.FT OR
