Ranchoe's Vacation Getaway

Ranchoes Vacation Getaway is the ideal place to stay with family and friends. It's 1800 sq ft of living area is seated right in the heart of Kanab Ranchoes. Completely remodel with an open living design. The living room, dining room, coffee room and kitchen are in a circular floor plan, This beautiful home opens up to a spacious living room with a 55 inch TV/wireless internet. The kitchen is packed with all the necessities you could need. With new stove, side by side refrigerate & freezer/dishwasher, microwave and small appliances. Dishes, pot and pans linens what ever your heart desires. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer & sink. While having your morning cup of joe, you can sit in the coffee room & relax and look out the window onto the front porch and see life in Kanab. The dining room is complete with table and chairs for a private affair. There's a high counter between living room and kitchen with stools so you can always visit if you like.
With three full bedrooms with one being the Master that has a queen size bed, dresser, cushioned platform rocking chair to relax in,two full length mirrors, so private and relaxing. Also has a desk & chair if you want or need to use your computer in privacy. The On suite master bath features his and her separated sinks and vanities , spacious tub @ shower. A walk in shower and a privacy wall for the loo.
The second bedroom also has queen bed and dresser full length mirror. Memory foam mattress to ensure you a goodnight sleep
The third bedroom has two beds, one queen and one double. with dresser, chairs, full length size mirror.
All bedrooms have new linens as well as towels for the bathrooms.
The second bathroom is by the two bedrooms with a large tub/shower combo, sink/vanity and loo.
The backyard is entirely fenced in with a solid 8 FT wood fencing.
Nice for kids or for your furry friends to roam and play and includes a picnic table and barbecue/grill for your pleasure. You can watch the sun rise in the morning in the backyard the moon coming up in the evening. The sunset from the front porch. against the mountains is outstanding..

We had a fine time at this rental. It had all the essentials. The fenced in backyard was nice to have. And, we had convenient access to downtown and hiking trails. The property’s age, decor and amenities could use some refreshing to make it a more welcoming experience.

Great stay

The stay was very nice. The house was stocked with everything needed and had extra amenities to boot. Great hub for many activities in the area. Would recommend this stay to all who come to Kanab.

Incredible stay!

The property is a couple of miles from downtown Kanab, and very easy to get to. The host left some great snacks, which were wonderfully welcomed after a long drive. The rooms were nice, the AC was cold, and everything worked as expected. Great stay, and would definitely stay again!

Good Place to Stay

The accommodations were good. Plenty of space, and everything was clean. Snacks were left, and there were games, fans, and space heaters. It is about 1 hour from Page, Arizona and the same distance from Zions. It is close to the Sand Caves, and Belly of the Dragon. We spent a couple of hours walking around Kanab and had a good time. I would stay there again.

Perfect for a family!

We enjoyed our stay! My family and pup enjoyed resting after our adventures. Perfect property for families to stay at as it truly felt like home for all of us. It was nice to have toys and games for them to play with and one of the bathrooms even had a toilet seat for little kids. The snacks/food were an unexpected touch and helped after a long day of travel. Thank you for everything!

Great Location, Lots of room

The house had plenty of room for the 5 of us. It was very close to town and we could see so many stars. We came for the Hot Air Balloon Festival and it was a great location. We really appreciated having some snacks available to us as soon as we arrived as we didn't have time to get any groceries. Would highly recommend!

Warm and welcoming

Melodie welcomed us personally and showed us the amenities. The house is up to date, open plan, pretty and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. It was close to Bryce and Zion where we spent the days hiking, and a lovely place to come back to afterwards.

Great get away

Home was as described. Great communication with easy check-in. Home was setup for a family get away close to Zion, Bryce Canyon and lots of misc trails in-between. This was a great "home-base" for use as we went out to explore... and then come home to cook a meal or just rest from a long day exploring. Thank you SO much for all the "extras" that you provided to make us feel at home.

Perfect place with pets

This place was the perfect place with pets. There is a dog park about a block from the house that we took the dogs at least once a day. It was perfectly stocked and clean. The only thing that was weird was there is no light in the backyard.

Lovely homeowner

The home owner is a very sweet lady. Very accommodating. The outside slightly scared me off and I advise the homeowner the outside needs to be cleaned up and she needs to let other guest know there is a tenant upstairs. Other than that very nice stay.

Awesome in the canyons

Melodie has equipped this home with exactly everything we needed to get our family vacation up and running. It was AWESOME. The home was on a quiet street, close to town - couldn’t have been better. Exactly at advertised, just perfect for us. The added goodies on check in were perfect as well. Do you have 6 stars????

Great property and great host!

We had a wonderful time here. The property was perfect for our trip. Central location to so many sights. And it was wonderful to come back to this house and make our dinners. The host was great as well. She made getting into the property easy, and even called to make sure we were able to get in and settled. She went above and beyond. There was a stocked fridge and freezer as well as snacks and fruit on the counter. We left some things by mistake and she has been a dream helping us get it back east to us. This was one of the best experiences renting a place on vacation. Thank you so much Melodie!

Great place

This is a nice location for exploring the sights of the area, Zion being one of our big attractions. The place is good sized and in a quiet neighborhood. Owner is very generous with the amount and types of food that were available to us. Have never stayed anywhere that has supplied anything like that, so thank you! The home is welcoming and cozy. We enjoyed our stay! Thanks for a great place to land in Utah and for the generosity! (P. S. I was a little surprised to see a house request that we vacuum before leaving, with the cleaning fees added to the bill at VRBO rentals I wasn’t expecting that. Not that big of a deal, just kind of a shoulder shrugging moment. We obliged of course, just mentioning it in the spirit of honest feedback.) In summary, always appreciate a chance to elevate the vacation experience with a homey stay as opposed to a hotel. No regrets. Melodie has a place you can book and feel at ease with.

Very Comfy Place

We enjoyed having this property to come to to relax at the end of daily adventures in this beautiful area of south central Utah. We enjoyed many of the food items provided for our stay. Treats and some staples so we didn’t have to spend as much when purchasing groceries. It would make it a little nicer if there had been a tv located in the master bedroom. We were traveling with our daughter, her husband, and our grandchildren. If there was a tv in the master (where we slept) we could have watched things in which we were interested while the children watched their usual cartoon-type shows. We wish VRBO itself did not charge owners so much to list their properties. We also do not appreciate how VRBO lists the amount charged per night on the prominent listing before adding in all the extra charges. VERY MISLEADING. At first you think you can afford to pay, then as you look at the ACTUAL total you find you cannot. Very poor choice to do that. We have used VRBO through the years though not recently. Use to love them, not so much now.

Great home base

We enjoyed this property as a great home base for our outdoor activities. The drinks and food/snacks in the kitchen was a very nice and welcoming touch, along with games and roku TV in the evenings. Only improvement we'd mention is the mattress in the master was a bit on the firm side.

Our family enjoyed our stay and the spaciousness of the home. The Host really made us feel welcomed and we appreciated the extras that were provided. The amenities such as the washer/dryer are always a plus. I would definitely recommend this property.

Clean, safe and quiet neighborhood. Surprised by full food, beverages refrigerator and full basket of snacks which were the first time we experienced with vacation rental house. Melodie is an excellent host. The minor problem is air conditioning can not be controlled (just on and off)

Have been living here in the Ranchoes since 1984 and can't think of another place that I would like to live. The people are friendly and there is lots to do 'or' not the decision is yours. I have traveled in and out of the USA during my life and could live where ever I choose and I choose here. Before my family moved here we lived in Southern California and came here since 1970 to water ski and camp at Lake Powell then to go up to Cedar mountain to do a different kind of camping.we were ready to be out of the fast pace life so in 1980 we bought land here. If I want to travel I can but mostly being in Kanab Ranchoes if my perfect fit.

Why they chose this property

This home's location is ideal. Not directly in town yet just close enough. The 'Ranchoes Vacation Getaway' is wonderful if you want to just stay for your entire visit/and yet a place to come home to after a days trip if that's what you choose. It has all the comforts of home, you don't have to pack and unpack. There's room for yourselves and visitors if you so wish. Sleeps 8 people with comfort. The Master bedroom is so large that it not only has a queen bed and large dresser, but also comfortable platform rocker and table. Desk and chair and it's own on suite bathroom with two separate sinks and vanities, tub, walk in shower, private wall to the loo and an extra closet. So there is not one but two closets. Lots of bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, hair dryer, so-o comfortable what more could you want? The other two bedrooms are also very nice with one also having a queen bed & dresser, new memory foam mattress really nice also with full length size mirror. The third bedroom has a queen size bed and also a full size bed with dresser. The queen size bed also has a new memory foam mattress. And of course all new sheets, comforters,blankets the works in all three bedrooms. No one is crowded and privacy for all. Second bathroom is also very nice with sink/vanity, tub/shower combo, and loo. The living room,dining room,kitchen and coffee room are in a circle floor plan so no one is left out. Laundry room is separate and has a new large top loading washer with a dryer by its side. There is also a wash sink if needed, and a window to look out of so your not feeling alone. Lots of storage so no need to leave things in your vehicle unless you want to. The back yard is enclosed with solid 8FT fence to give you complete privacy, table and chairs, lots of green grass an a lovely apple tree.Kids & furry friends will love it.

What makes this property unique

Close to Zion National park, Bryce, Best friends animal sanctuary, North Rim of Grand Canyon to name just a few. Ranchoes Vacation Getaway is the perfect way to either have privacy and yet be able to see all the surrounding sites and come home and know it's your second home. It's just the way you left it. Sound and secure!
