About this property

Star's Place near 3 Nat'l Parks - Family and Pet friendly

This comfortable home is centrally located near Zions, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Grand Staircase-Escalante Monument, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, and Brian Head. Fully furnished in a quiet neighborhood. Three minutes to downtown.

Nice home, built in 2009, with fully fenced yard, ideal for those traveling with pets or small children. There are three bedrooms. All three rooms have queen bed, a dresser, nightstand, lamp, and closet. The master bedroom also has a small walk-in closet and private bathroom. The other two bedrooms share the bathroom in the hall.

The living room is smaller-sized. It has a cozy loveseat, recliner, flat-screen TV with Blu-ray player. There is a business center nook tucked under the staircase with desk and chair.

In the kitchen, there is no actual dining table, but we have just typically used the counter for eating. There are 4 bar stools at the counter. The cupboards are stocked with standard dishes and seasonings. We would love to make your stay more enjoyable. Please let me know if there is something specific you would like to have on hand, and I'll do my best to deliver. Kitchen has standard appliances.

Off the kitchen is a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a pantry room. There is also a small broom closet by the doorway to the garage that houses broom, mop, and vacuum for your convenience.

2-car garage, street parking, and graveled parking--ideal for parking a boat, toy hauler, trailers, etc. I do have some things stored temporarily in the garage so right now only one car will fit.

Interaction with Guests: I will be available for check-in and check-out and on call for additional help, but other interactions will be minimal as I have several small children, and other obligations that make it challenging to spend lots of one-on-one time with guests. But I will strive to be as accommodating as possible to make your stay enjoyable.

The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly. You'll see folks stroll by in the cool summer evenings. Some of the neighbor kids will ride bikes by or take their dog for a walk. The beautiful red mountains are there to enjoy outside the front door. You are a quick drive to the gas stations, grocery stores, movie theater, and down-home shopping.

Getting around: There is no public transportation available, but there is good parking available on the property.

We had an incredible stay at Star’s place. The house was clean and comfortable to come back to after long days hiking. It was also fully stocked with everything you need. We were able to visit Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Bryce Canyon, Zion, and do some off roading in Kanab area. The Rocking V restaurant was our go to for dinner. Beautiful area.

Ideal Family Spot

It was a perfect HQ for our families. The house was clean and well stocked and the host was always available for questions. The location is a very quiet street close to whatever you need and the various attractions.

Home Away From Home

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay. It was a wonderful home base for several visits to Zion National Park, a drive to Grand Canyon North Rim and areas around Kanab. Star was wonderful hostess.

This was amazing place to stay. The house had everything we needed and then some. Kanab is a super little town with so much to do. We went to Bryce Canyon, Red Canyon, mount Zion, Pink Coral Sand Dunes and Moqui Cave, not to mention all of the hiking trails everywhere. just an awesome stay!!

We had a great time at this location. The house had everything we needed, and then some. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our dog to run around. Short walk to town for necessities. So many trails and beautiful scenery in the Kanab area. We would definitely stay there again.

We were thrilled to work with Star. The accomodations.had everything and more. Her attention to detail makes for a great stay. We traveled to Capitol Reef, North Rim , Zion, Bryce Canyon all with Kanab as our base. I suggest you do the same.

4th with the family

I made a 2 day drive 1,800 miles from E Texas to spend the 4th with my Son, daughter in law and 2 grandsons who came up from Phoenix. The owner was a joy to work with and everything was awesome. We have stayed at vrbo’s before across the SW and had some issues but not this place. She was the nicest and most welcoming person we could ever imagine. The home was spotless and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We brought our sxs with us and had plenty of places to ride. Also brought 2 little Yamaha 50 cc dirt bikes and gave them to our grandsons for their birthday.

Great Family Friendly House

This is the most family friendly VRBO we've ever stayed in. It was homey, without having breakables! The house was well stocked and everything was easy to find. It's set in a quiet neighborhood, but still manages to be close to everything. When I had questions or concerns, Star was really responsive and friendly. 100% would recommend.

Home base while visiting Zion national park

This house is absolutely amazing. We had been on the road from the Grand Canyon with a stop at Horseshoe Bend so we were all very tired & ready to chill for a while. We came into the house & fell in love with everything & felt right at home. The owner goes above & beyond to make this the perfect place to stay. Everything you can imagine is provided. Nice neighborhood & beautiful scenery from the yard. We’re a long way from home (Georgia) but if I’m ever in the area again I would definitely stay here. The owner of this house should be the standard that all others measure themselves by.

Perfect Home For Hiking, Festival, Baloons

Wonderful experience with Star and this property. We made a booking mistake before we even arrived and Star worked overtime to immediately accommodate us. We can’t say enough good about this property, the pet friendly yard and Star being a Super Star! We were able to view the balloon launch right from the front yard. Kanab is the greatest destination for all things outdoors. We enjoyed hiking, off roading, balloons and tunes, music festival, food trucks, lantern launch and the sunny February weather! The home was immaculate, comfortable, well stocked with linens and food items, well equipped for cooking, outdoor gear and front yard patio. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property!!

Really Enjoyed the house

We were in town to hike Zion & Bryce Canyon and this was a great location. We especially enjoyed having dinner on the front porch & meeting the neighbors! Nice quiet neighborhood. Our host was very responsive and kept the house well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Even bagels & cream cheese! Would definitively recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

Star went above and beyond to make sure her house is equipped and labeled for everything. The fruit bowl with bagels and cream cheese was such a nice treat as was the stocked pantry and many toiletries including sunscreen. The laundry room also had everything that you could need. I would highly recommend Star’s home for your stay in the Kanab area. It was just like being in your own home.

Kanab Family Vacay Perfect Location

If planning on staying in this area, you absolutely must choose this location! The house is everything shown plus a whole lot more! Star goes out of her way to go above and beyond. The neighborhood is quiet. Easy access to and from Hwy 89. The home seems to have anything you could think of you may need, toiletries, pantry stock, spices, etc! Star is only a text away for any questions you may have. You can’t go wrong, this home was more than we ever dreamed! I just can’t say enough about how great this place is!

My husband and I built this house as a young family starting out. This was our first home before we took a job overseas. We would have returned to this home, but because we are ranchers, we just needed more elbow room. We decided to keep this home and use it to share our wonderful area with other travelers like you! Thanks for looking.
