Located in central Charlottesville in the lovely Greenbrier neighborhood, this 3-bedroom single level home offers a quiet place to relax while enjoying all the local amenities. 5 minutes from the downtown walking mall, 10 minutes from UVA campus and hospital, 15 minutes to Monticello and Carter mountain, 20 minutes to the airport. Convenient to everything. A beautiful neighborhood with mature trees, sidewalks, and many parks and trails nearby. A fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep a breeze. Tell us what you need ahead of time and we'll make sure all your accommodation needs are met! Locally owned so there's never a problem with communication and any issues that come up can be dealt with promptly. An always-on generator ensures that even with loss of electricity, your stay will continue uninterrupted. We have a selection of teas and Nespresso coffees, snacks and beverages waiting for you. Pet friendly! - we know how important your four- legged companions are. A fenced in back yard ensures their safety for potty and play times. Our guests know we go above and beyond to make their stay as homey and relaxed as possible.

We stayed here on a business trip. Its in a quiet neighborhood and the house id very comfortable, but the host is amazing! She really goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. She provided espresso and snacks and had a good taste of Italy in the home. Its convenient to downtown Charlottesville and qas the perfect place for the week.

Beautiful home not far from UVA, which was perfect for our family of 4 and dog, who loved the fenced in back yard. It was clean and spacious and the owners were flexible, responsive, and very hospitable with lovely touches throughout to make us feel welcome. We would definitely stay here again!

The hosts were extremely courteous and responsive. There was also a welcoming letter and small gift due to the holidays. Our English bulldog absolutely loved the fenced in back yard.

Some years, 3 states, one husband, 3 kids, oodles of pets, and a few jobs later, she's delighted to be back in the area to share Kenwood with others. Maria and Curtis hope you feel as happy and peaceful here as she did growing up.

Why they chose this property

My old stomping grounds! Very little has changed in the Greenbrier neighborhood, even though Charlottesville has changed and grown a lot!! It's still a great place to take a walk or a run, and you might just see a few deer grazing in the front yard!!

What makes this property unique

Our home is one of the very few available for stays in this neighborhood. We make sure our guests feel right at home by providing the basics ahead of time - snacks, coffee, tea, and other beverages. We live locally so there's no impersonal property management party to deal with if you need anything.
