If you a looking for a cozy, quiet cabin retreat with premier access to Whiteface and a quick drive to Lake Placid, this is your place. The hosts were responsive, there is plenty of parking, and it was obvious that the place was cleaned well between bookings. While the furnishings and appliances are starting to show their age, this was not a deal-breaker. My only advice to future guests would be to bring your own bed pillow if you are a picky sleeper. :)This was a great setup for a small group to attend the last (for now :/) UCI DH race at Whiteface. Thank you for having us!
A very nice and clean cabin. Spacious enough to be comfortable, but small enough to be cozy. Right off of a main road, not super secluded but still very private and a very quiet neighborhood.
The cabin was exactly as advertised, and was well-suited for our group of 5 adults. The location was very convenient to whiteface, Lake Placid and Wilmington. Although we didn't use the deck or yard because it was winter, I could see the outside of the property being enjoyable in warmer weather. I would stay here again.
Cozy cabin is right! Great for our winter family trip to the Adirondacks, just minutes from Whiteface. The loft bedroom was fun and there were more beds than we needed for a family of four. Location is wooded with a beautiful stream running through the backyard. Would definitely rent again.
A very cozy and peaceful place, beautifully furnished and fully equipped with everything you need.Communication with the host prompt when necessary. We would come again!

Honest review of our experience. The pros: Location is great those looking to be secluded while having the convenience to travel into the local towns. Ample room to spread out for a larger group. Sleeping arrangements are suitable for family's with children. Plenty of outdoor seating, and a good multi use room downstairs for spreading out inside if the weather doesn't cooperate. The cons: Upon arriving we learned quickly that the ceiling lights do not work for the large living space, dead bulbs possibly but you can not reach them without a ladder. Makes it difficult to see once it gets dark out, specifically in the kitchen. Kitchen is functional but definitely looks like a thrift store was thrown in the cabinets. The grill needs guards to stop the grease from plugging the burners, had to unclog them so we could cook outside as we planned on utilizing the grill all weekend we made it work. It would also benefit from a deep cleaning. The downstairs bathroom shower liner was dirty to the point we didn't feel like it had been cleaned therefore we only showered upstairs. Group of 6 made it less than ideal. Not sure if the sheets are cleaned in between stays but we found hairs in multiple beds so we can only assume they aren't. (130, cleaning fee) that's unacceptable. Functionally it is a cabin in the woods. It served our purpose for our stay. Didn't expect the Hilton but also did have higher expectations for the price. I personally would not stay here again. That's just me
